@Kostelica27 – Krist-Yahn, it’s the killer instinct, the desire to finish the fight, the willingness to stand and bang, that eucalyptus is commenting about. There’s a huge difference between going in the cage to fight and entertain and win, and going in the cage to win, safely. GSP hasn’t had an exciting fight since he got his belt back. He’s dominated his opponents, no question. But everyone expects GSP fights to go 5 rounds, because we know he isn’t going to take any risks, we know he isn’t going to risk letting his hands go, or give up position attempting a risky sub. And why should he? He’s the champ, they have to beat him…. but that doesn’t take away from the fact that his fights are snooze fests.

Barao kid was impressive. They need to give him somebody a little further up the food chain at 135 and see how he does. Bowles/Faber winner I think. Might be too quick but damn, kid looked scary good.

kostelica27: LOL – I was thinking the EXACT samething. It was a great performance from both fighters, but especially Barao, but he fought Pickett – Who? EXACTLY! I’m pretty sure if GSP was fithing Pickett, it would finish by a highlight reel finish. Not really sure what GSP is suppose to watch exactly?!? We’ll see if Barao can do that to Ellenberger, Koscheck, Condit, Shields, Alves etc. Then come talk to me about “GSP should watch this”, until then it makes no sense. GSP is the CHAMP, he’s been the Champ since April 2008 & he has defended his title with ease since, maybe EUCALYPTIS should watch GSP dominating performances.

Great fight.It was a brawl from the begfining but with great technic.Take that Leonard Garcia.And take that a******* who were saying that card sucked 2 days before it aired.It was one of the best card I seen in a long time.Great fights and the majority were finishes.
