hats off to Rashad….hes not many peoples favorites but props for being willing to cut weight to make an epic fight like that happen! There are so many dudes claiming injuries and sometimes not always dodging fights! HEs a real fighter, wants to make s*** happen..

Would be awesome.People give s*** to GSP for not getting up in weight but who else but BJ Penn And Randy Coututre did this at champioship levels??Nobody so that doesn’t make GSP a lesser fighter for not wanting to fight at 185 neither is AS for not fighting JJ and neither is Jon Jones for not gonig to HW.People want to criticize these 3 all the time for not going up inweight but they are the 3 best p4p fighters in the world,why whould they absolutly have to go up in weight?There are always new guys coming up.

Movement? When are we going to see an MMA fighter enter the ring with the addition of the “Cus D’Amato Way”?

Imagine Jon Jones or Anderson Silva with the “Cus D’Amato Way”. Chael Sonnen is right. Silva is amateurish with holding his hands down. When did Mike Tyson EVER do that? What serious, professional does that? Imagine Mike Tyson in his prime with a full understanding of MMA and what he’d do in the MMA world with the Cus D’Amato way of offense and defense. No one would have defeated him.

Mark my words. Five years from now, we’re going to see the Cus D’Amato Way in the octagon if someone has the balls to implement the best boxing technique there is.

Mike Tyson if anything did not have the best style for MMA. All the bobbing and weaving to get inside would get you a shin across the face.

for all the noobs saying silva would walk through suga…you are a joke. who were the two closest people to beating silva? lutter and sonnen, not because they were techniqually the best, but because they moved in and fought, they didnt wait or buying into silvas game. all the others that lost basically stood in front of him wait for him to do something, if you want to beat him you have to be in his face, sonnen has a great chance of kicking his ass

Silva does have takedown defense, i guess he only got put on his back agaisnt fail sonnen cause he got the rib thing.

He already fought wrestlers and beat them, hendo for instance.

If this fight ever happens, just watch AS beat rashad’s ass.

Listen to yo momma Rashad, don’t you fight that spider, he crafty and dangerous….actually, Rashad’s skill-set would match-up well against the spider because
A) he wouldn’t be intimated like many fighters
B) he’s actually fast and has KO power
C) his wrestling is near as good as it gets in mma (just ask Phil Davis)
but Dana would never set up a super fight like this, b/cuz should Rashad win, he couldn’t cut the weight to defend the belt, so dream on dreamers, it ain’t gonna happen…

Rashad better fight Silva while Silva is still relevant. Ol’ Spider is getting up in age lol. Soon it won’t be a big deal if anybody beats Silva, just like the way Fedor has fallen off the radar. Silva should honestly retire if he beats Sonnen imo. I don’t know how many wins he has left in him with the way people like Jon Jones, Glover Texiera, etc are emerging today.
