There are so many dudes claiming injuries and sometimes not always dodging fights! HEs a real fighter, wants to make shit happen.. Log in to Reply HatersGonnaHate June 27, 2012 I’m not rooting for Anderson Silva to beat Sonnen … so he can get smashed by Rashad Evans. Rashad Evans would beat Anderson’s ass worse than Sonnen and it wouldn’t be difficult. Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick June 27, 2012 Would be awesome.People give shit to GSP for not getting up in weight but who else but BJ Penn And Randy Coututre did this at champioship levels??Nobody so that doesn’t make GSP a lesser fighter for not wanting to fight at 185 neither is AS for not fighting JJ and neither is Jon Jones for not gonig to HW.People want to criticize these 3 all the time for not going up inweight but they are the 3 best p4p fighters in the world, why whould they absolutly have to go up in weight? There are always new guys coming up. Log in to Reply Beast w/ 8 Limbs June 27, 2012 It may seem like a good move, seeing as not many people think he could ever beat Jones. I think he would be doing all that in exchange for a beat down though. Log in to Reply Gee June 27, 2012 Lol Anderson Silva would walk through him. Won’t even watch the video, because Rashad’s a joke for thinking this. How about you cut weight and than fight through contenders, before you get that shot? Log in to Reply Rio_Warrior June 27, 2012 Haha couldnt stand Machida on the feet, he would get embarassed by AS who is way more agressive. Only way to win is the same we all know: the boring lay n pray. Log in to Reply Dave-O June 27, 2012 “Rashad Evans Would Only Drop To 185 If It Was To Fight Anderson Silva. Getting slowly better. Log in to Reply Martialist June 27, 2012 Even people who know they can’t beat Anderson Silva still want to fight him just to say they did and tell stories about it lol That would not be an exciting fight. Log in to Reply xformat June 27, 2012 Movement? When are we going to see an MMA fighter enter the ring with the addition of the “Cus D’Amato Way”? Imagine Jon Jones or Anderson Silva with the “Cus D’Amato Way”. Chael Sonnen is right. Silva is amateurish with holding his hands down. When did Mike Tyson EVER do that? What serious, professional does that? Imagine Mike Tyson in his prime with a full understanding of MMA and what he’d do in the MMA world with the Cus D’Amato way of offense and defense. No one would have defeated him. Mark my words. Five years from now, we’re going to see the Cus D’Amato Way in the octagon if someone has the balls to implement the best boxing technique there is. Log in to Reply peruviannecktie June 28, 2012 Anderson Silva is a martial ARTIST. no one can do the things he has done in the octagon against 2 diff weightclasses of relevant fighters. He is a modern day Bruce Lee. He drops his hands to show that he can, dodges punches, and knocks you the F out. Look at the highlight reel, those guys are not taking dives. Forest Griffin did not want to get embarrassed like that, and neither did the rest of Anderson’s opponents. He hasnt lost in the UFC yet. He has an off fight once in awhile, but he still wins. And now he’s pissed off. He is going to tear Sonnen’s face off, mark my words. Log in to Reply Sammy June 28, 2012 Mike Tyson if anything did not have the best style for MMA. All the bobbing and weaving to get inside would get you a shin across the face. Log in to Reply Genghis Khan June 28, 2012 hahaha… Rashad is dreaming. He stands no chance vs Anderson he would only get embarrassed. Log in to Reply Thxer June 28, 2012 I would LOVE to see this fight. I’d be very interested to see how Rashad does at MW! Log in to Reply fighter June 28, 2012 Rashad Evans is a Man! I would love to see Rashad smashing Anderson Log in to Reply fightdontbefake June 28, 2012 for all the noobs saying silva would walk through suga…you are a joke. who were the two closest people to beating silva? lutter and sonnen, not because they were techniqually the best, but because they moved in and fought, they didnt wait or buying into silvas game. all the others that lost basically stood in front of him wait for him to do something, if you want to beat him you have to be in his face, sonnen has a great chance of kicking his ass Log in to Reply Grape Soda June 28, 2012 Rio_Warrior: You seem to forget Machids is a very solid grappler with a strong clinch game (wrestling) and Rashad wasn’t able to put him on his back and was forced to strike with him. Andy has no wrestling, I could take him down. Log in to Reply Oswald Cobblepot June 28, 2012 If the shoe fits! Log in to Reply ibunn June 28, 2012 Never liked Rashad too much because all the dancing around and show boating but props to him for stepping up and wanting to fight silva. Could you imagine these two in a fight both of them showboating around? It would look more like a dance off then a fight Log in to Reply Rio_Warrior June 28, 2012 @grape soda Silva does have takedown defense, i guess he only got put on his back agaisnt fail sonnen cause he got the rib thing. He already fought wrestlers and beat them, hendo for instance. If this fight ever happens, just watch AS beat rashad’s ass. Log in to Reply murell June 28, 2012 Rashad has the perfect style to beat Goony girly silva,i would love to see that fight. Log in to Reply rashad'smom June 28, 2012 Listen to yo momma Rashad, don’t you fight that spider, he crafty and dangerous….actually, Rashad’s skill-set would match-up well against the spider because A) he wouldn’t be intimated like many fighters B) he’s actually fast and has KO power C) his wrestling is near as good as it gets in mma (just ask Phil Davis) but Dana would never set up a super fight like this, b/cuz should Rashad win, he couldn’t cut the weight to defend the belt, so dream on dreamers, it ain’t gonna happen… Log in to Reply Mike June 29, 2012 LOL, reshad needs to stick at commentating and give up fighting. Anderson Silva VS Reshad? Really? It’s not even worth writing the damn words, much less watch this as a fight! Log in to Reply jdogg June 29, 2012 Rashad better fight Silva while Silva is still relevant. Ol’ Spider is getting up in age lol. Soon it won’t be a big deal if anybody beats Silva, just like the way Fedor has fallen off the radar. Silva should honestly retire if he beats Sonnen imo. I don’t know how many wins he has left in him with the way people like Jon Jones, Glover Texiera, etc are emerging today. Log in to Reply jointlocker July 2, 2012 Props to Rashad for re-inventing himself in the face of adversity. If what he says is true I can imagine the devastation feeling betrayed by your camp. No joke, that’s like family for some. Also, he just got divorced and has kids in the mix as well. It can be rough, especially when the fans aren’t in your corner. You can’t please everyone so might as well do what it takes to reach your own goals. Lesser men have fallen to such pressures. Respect.
