Fought a good fight? Did you watch anything past round 1? He was either suffering some ring rust for being away too long or his conditioning wasn’t up to what it usually was. His attack sucked and when he had an opening he didn’t press to take advantage of it. The one takedown they mention in this interview was actually Jones pulling guard. Terrible fight for Rashad. Never one of my favorites but usually respected him as a fighter. Saturday he fought not to get submitted or get beat up.

@steeltown Its not the NFL music. Its the Fox Sports music. They use it for all of their sports telecasts. You just associate with NFL cuz thats where you’re used to hearing it. IF they gave UFC their own music then they would be the only sport on Fox to have their own and every other sport would still be sharing the same old theme. Thats not going to happen.

@steeltown – I’m not sure how many times it has to be pointed out, but…..it’s not the NFL theme song. It’s the music that Fox plays for EVERY sport they broadcast. Races, MLB, NFL, UFC, you name it.

Jones was the only one who got rocked in that boring ass fight. I’ve seen better lay’n'pray fights. And yo, they play that song during baseball and nascar too, it’s the FOX Sports song. Maybe one day when you start your own multi-billion dollar network, you can have some clout to maybe choose a more appropriate song for our ears… but if it’s rap or butt rock metal, I will F^cking Kill YOU!

Rashad look gas due to Jones be stronger then he used to be you can tell by his muscle mass when he entered the cage compared to past fight, and good for rashad jones has been making people look silly and to go the distance when everyone said Rashad would get out of the 3 is a good mile stone but no victory, Rashad needs that high altitude training for his cardio it showed in the 4 and 5 round

props to rashad for staying positive and to jones for being as good as he is. I do think that Jones is starting to lose the air of immortality. Machida hit him a bit, and Evans did too, and now everyone recognizes the he has moments when he is vulnerable to attack like anyone. Catching him wont be easy, but its doable.

Jon Jones = super tall dude whose head is up so high in the clouds making it impossible to hit, while his arms are so long that he can outpoint you easily. If Jones was 5 inches shorter, he would be knocked out by dozens of fighters; his fighting skills are only at the B/B+ level. He’s not bad, and he’s not great. The height/length + some ok/good fighting skills made him champion. Sick of Jones already – the sport will suffer.
