Lesnar only improves after every fight, only Men who might be able to beat him(at this time), is Fedor or Nogiera.. Lesnar is the Man & the Champ….suffer!! Log in to Reply slaytanic November 18, 2008 Another few fights under his belt, and Lesnar will be unstoppable!! Hail the new champ!! **** yea!!!! Log in to Reply Nambo November 18, 2008 u really can’t compare Lesnar to Kimbo….Lesnar was NCAA wrestling champ and Kimbo was fighting overweight dudes that just walked outta Krispy Kreme….Lesnar is a decent all around fighter…while Kimbo is a straight up slugger…Brock’s first loss was to Frank Mir (a former UFC champ), Kimbo’s first loss was to a fat police officer and officially to Seth Petruzelli (who, by the way, sucked in the UFC)….and this is coming a Randy Couture fan….i may not like Lesnar that much….but I’m sure as hell not a diluted twat Log in to Reply Rio_warrior November 19, 2008 On the new photo Lesnar says: “tap out or i will give you a hug wiht my new tattoo”. Log in to Reply killa-E November 20, 2008 this fight was fixed!!!…they clearly exchange words several times in 4:15 secs of rnd 2 n right b4 randy threw himself on the floor…just like WWE…this was such a set up, such an act…so disgusted with the UFC ..f*cking ruinning the sport!! Log in to Reply Regards from Italy November 21, 2008 MMA is not dead. Until there is Fedor, there is hope Log in to Reply Gordo November 21, 2008 “Is Brock Lesnar a better fighter than Couture? No. And that’s what MMA is all about, fighters who are huge powerhouses will lose to fighters with skill and technique!” But Coutures skill and technique got him knocked out in the second round … Why is it always assumed that big powerhouses cannot have or devolope skill and technique? It’s the most annoying stigma in mma. It is VERY possible to be a big powerhouse that also has skill and technique you know. People always asume big strong guys are always these retarded slow cavemen, but it’s just not true. It can be true sometimes, but the same can be said for small weak guys, there are a lot of pretty retarded small, weak guys too. Lesnar already has some serious skill as a Ncaa champ, and his MMA skills are getting better every day. Could Fedor and his superior skills beat Lesnar? I think so. But I also thought Couture would beat Lesnar, and by the time Lesnar fights Fedor (If he ever does), Lesnar will be WAY better. Log in to Reply Gordo November 21, 2008 The fight was NOT fixed by the way. I thought that too at first, but if you look close, and watch it over and over, they are NOT talking to eachother like in WWE. I am 100% sure of this. Log in to Reply WilsonBaby November 21, 2008 Fight was fixed? lol killa-E you need your eyes to be fixed if you believe that. Lesnar’s size and strength are insane, and his speed for a heavyweight is ridiculous. Randy held in there for a little bit but i believe his age is catching up with him. Once Lesnar gets a little more experience he is going to be extremely tough to take out. Log in to Reply learn2swim November 22, 2008 Everyone here bitching about Lesnar will still watch every fight he continues to have. I see him beating either Mir or Nog and really the only competetion might be a well focused Gonzaga. Stop hating on the man for his previous jobs and recognize that he could become the greatest heavyweight of all time. And another thing… Fedor is crap! Until he comes to the UFC he will never be the greatest… the UFC has either legitimized fighters from other organizations or completely exposed them as sorry nobodies. Fedor is no exception and I don’t care if he beat former UFC Champ Tim Sylvia because he was never that good while he was champ and he certainly has not gotten better. Lesnar is the Champ and Fedor and all of you need to get used to it because I don’t see it changing. Log in to Reply pbo November 22, 2008 u dont understand what just happened in the fight. Randy is a great wrestler and uses it well. He is a great fighter but made two big mistakes in the fight. 1 he tried to defend the belt after he hadnt fought in over a year. 2 he tried to out wrestle Lesnar most of the fight. no one in the ufc can out wrestle lesnar. only few people in the world can actually out wrestle him. so give credit where credit is due. u might just be looking at the new face of ufc and mma so get over it. Log in to Reply killa-E November 24, 2008 it id obvious that theres shit going on behind the scenes of UFC. Its all about the $$$.. great fighters getting kicked out like they never meant shit to this sport for money reason. for the kids on here that are sayin that this fight wasnt fixed. go and check the fight again, I know its hard to accept it. But i just hope that Dana doesnt ruin such pay per view fights with famous top fighters like this one. UFC is losing its credibility Log in to Reply miner69er November 24, 2008 is the tattoo on lesnars chest dick? looks like a dick? hahha Log in to Reply xxxkid November 25, 2008 ‘He kicked the crap out of Frank Mir too, and Frank Mir is ****ing lucky he got that knee, or else he would’ve been as good as done.’ Luck plays a massive part in all fights. A lucky hit can still take someone down. If you go by that statement, Lesner is in the same boat with Randy. That last shot was very lucky, Lesner wasn’t even ready to follow up right away, he hesitated. Granted, Lesner showed real skill in this fight, but Randy was tiring him out fast. It wasn’t one sided, both Randy and Lesner did a good job. WWE isn’t easy. It’s show, yes, but it requires dedication and training and to deny that is really ridiculous. Add onto that the wrestling background and you have a powerful fighter. Lesner worked with his strong points, and that’s another sign of a good fighter. On that note, Lesner has a lame-dick personality, and that’s the only reason I’m sore he won. Seriously, who tattoos a penis on their chest? Log in to Reply Costa200 November 25, 2008 This fight was bs…Randy goes to ground without reason to do so and then he makes a poor excuse of defense on those hammers… WTF, if this was the champ then the UFC really has turned into some kind of pro wrestling BS… Log in to Reply Rigged. December 2, 2008 LOL Told u dumbasses ufc is rigged. This even proves it more. Log in to Reply Willy B. KTFO December 3, 2008 Style’s make fights. Couture’s style of fighting (take downs and G&P) don’t work very well against a decorated NCAA wrestler. You can’t pound what you can’t take down. And Couture didn’t show any better stand up than Lesner that night. And Couture’s no more a submission fighter than Lesner. So, other than experience and heart, what did Couture bring to the fight that could have overcame youth, genetics, and power? You can call into question how Lesner earned the title fight, but you can’t call into question that Lesner won decisively (Couture wasn’t defending himself intelligently when it was stopped). I agree though that a fighter with excellent standup skills and/or submission skills would give Lesner trouble. As they say, a true champion is one who successfully defends his title. Log in to Reply sir_flexalot December 12, 2008 Brock has said numerous times that MMA is less physically challenging than pro wrestling, so he has a huge advantage just from that against any purely MMA fighter. Pro wrestling may have a fixed outcome but you take so many backbreaking injuries and have to keep going to make the plot of the show work — very different from a refereed and licensed fight. Ever been hit with a metal folding chair or had to take a fall onto concrete? Log in to Reply Linden December 22, 2008 I love dana and the UFC but this is bullshit. It’s true that Randy’s “old” and past his prime so it’s not an overwhelming surprise that Lesnar won but the fact that this ****ing meathead is a HW champ? Brock ****ing lesnar? This is the biggest joke ever. Sure Lesnar is big and strong but the HW division is total bullshit.. can’t wait to see someone who can actually fight and not just rely on his size to **** him up in the octagon. Log in to Reply confucius234 February 2, 2009 Just 2 let everyone know Frank Mir put the beat down on him once and hes in even better shape then b4..dnt worry Frank mirs the truth now that his stand up is improved. Log in to Reply gotcrowd.com April 5, 2009 Frank Mir was getting his ASS kicked untile the leglock. Mir is going to get DESTROYED! Log in to Reply kendjo June 10, 2009 you lesnar fans are idiots. anyone who cant see that the punch that knocked randy down didnt exist, is blind. Log in to Reply Outlaw shorty July 5, 2009 brock lesnar show bitch ass randy who the man.wolf man and brock lesnar thats a fight i would like to see Log in to Reply Danby July 8, 2009 Brock is 65 lbs heavier then randy in this match. Brock cut weight to get to the 265 lbs. I guarantee he dropped about 20 lbs of water before the weigh in. If they had been closer in weight, randy would have taken him. Plus randys 45 years old. Whats brock, like 27 or 28. Come on. Fedor would eat brock alive. Log in to Reply bob hope November 27, 2009 Impressed by Randy’s strategy;Greco-Roman counts for a lot here in terms of neutralising Brock whose big advantage is weight. If u contrast this fight with Mir2 you have to ask yourself if the jj would work against a pro-wrestler who can pin as well as Brock and pound away as he did. Am very impressed with Randy. Fedor has all angles covered;he could definitely out-punch Brock and take a punch or two. Submissions are a real possiblilty too. That said there is that 60ib weight advantage of Brock but I question his cardio after 2 rounds of being pounded by fedor who would spot Brock’s foot-placing which is a bit tenuous at times. Ach! It won’t happen. Brock is crock and may be floored for another year with the mono. Log in to Reply « Older Comments Leave a Reply Cancel reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
