The reporter asked him what he thought of the fights and he gave his opinion. It’s not like he just brought it up himself and began talking bad about the fights. He was asked and then gave his opinion.

I liked his comments, especially about Forrest “I-Can’t-Handle-A-Loss” Griffin.

i’m aware he squashed his beef with J-Rog but it was also Rich Franklin and others that he seemed hypersensitive about their comments, he was probably just emotional or going through something, i still love Rampage, hope he KO’s Texeira just so he goes out on a strong win

I would love to see Page destroy Chump Sonnen, especially if Chump is off of the juice.. Sonnen’s interviews are WWEish, scripted, Rampage just spoke what was on his mind..

Common people he just gave his thoughts about the fight! He was a great fighter and one of the most entertainning but on this he is just giving his thoughts nothing else!

Seriously how are people going in on Rampage so much when he’s talking about Chael… Really? He just answered the question. As far as a head to head with Chael. Who ever said he would beat rampage standing and on the ground. You CRAZY? Rampage doesn’t through jabs, but his standup is way more technical than Chael. If Chael were stupid enough to stand (and I don’t think he is) he would find out Page isn’t as accurate as AS, but damn it will hurt when he gets hit. WOuld Chael get him, down probably.. Would he keep him down, not likely.. If Page is fit, Chael dies,(remember when Rampage is fit he can stuff takedowns like Liddel in his prime) if Page has a Fat head as Bruno would say, then Chael has a Ryan Bader lay and pray chance..

That said, Chael goes for the takedown after one clean shot by Page. Chael is not walking through a big 205er to get the shot. Even picture Chael taking a punch from Vitor and getting the takedown.. I don’t see it. His style is founding taking a punch to get the takedown. Not saying he can’t box, but he has a habit of eating punches to get the takedown… He hasn’t fought too many guys bigger than him… A chin is a chin and Rampage would test that….

Sonnen served as a guest analyst on Tuesday’s new edition of “UFC Tonight” program, and in typical Sonnen fashion he addressed what Jackson said about him.

“Rampage has one fight left in the UFC and he isn’t fighting me,” Sonnen said. “I give you that answer because I am sitting here wearing my fancy suit, with an ear piece on and I have been branded an analyst on the number one UFC show on TV today.”

He wouldn’t stop there, however, as he had a more scathing, “non-analyst” take on the situation as well.

“But if you had asked me outside, in my kingdom and I was wearing my sponsor’s shirt, I would have told him that he should stick to violating female reporters,” Sonnen said. “He should stick to making box office disasters and driving the wrong way on the freeway ramped up on Mountain Dew, because he’s not on my level. But, you didn’t ask me outside, you asked me inside. So let’s keep this professional, I don’t want to get that message out there.”

I like Rampage, but Chael would smash him! I think Chael should retire Wanderlei as an easy come back fight!

@ironfist i will like to see sonnen fighting any of the fighters rampage had fight on the ufc, how well will sonnen do vs machida,Bader,rashad,jon jones,liddell,henderson and wandarlei, and well sonnen already fought forrest griffin and forrest won by submission. i dont even gonna count sakuraba,shogun,ninja,randleman and vovchanchyn all of them at their prime.

Rampage chats s***….we all know that. he’s perhaps not too relevant now as he’s in the late summer of his fighting career. But lets not forget he’s no chump either he beat some brilliant guys in his time, Wandy, Chuck and more recently Machida.

once again it doesn’t matter what page did to who back in Pride or anybody page fought cause styles make fights and sonnen’s style is page’s kryptonite and with no sub ability from the bottom easy win for chael.
