Great 45-minute plus video of Rampage Jackson and Ariel Helwani walking around the city of Tokyo talking about his start in Japanese MMA.
Imagine…..The quietest UFC event in history on saturday.
This was great interview and Page is right that in the future there will be few like him. Sadly this world is full of conformists who worry to much. Basically Jon Jones types.
I enjoyed this interview very much, the setting the format very original, a fresh way to get to know Rampage as a person better, by all means he will be missed the day he quits the biz
i totally expect the rampage fight will be less than exciting because he didn’t want to fight bader he’s only happy that he’s on this card.
Whats not to like about Rampage
much better than listening to drunk USicans booing
@ABUabu oh it will be lovely
7-11
Enjoyed this video very much. Just walking and talking.
great interview right here. you can really tell rampages maturity of mindset as it’s grown w/ the sport and his career. appreciate him sharing all the things he’s learned and observed
enjoyable, nice chat.
@60ndown Yeah, funny thing about Tokyo; f*****’ 7-11′s everywhere.
ariel did a great job here! hope Rampage get the winn cuse i wanna see him continue fighting.
rampage, first learn to read and write in english..then try japanese, probably to this day he cant point japan of the world map. he should not be interviewed, period.
LOL @18:53 Lean with it, rock with it!
I can’t let it pass … when Ariel Hawani starts talking about slavery and trying to *bond* with Rampage … it pisses me off because one of the most under-reported facts is that Jews were a HIGH number of slave ship owners and brokers. Don’t believe it? GOOGLE: “The Shocking Jewish Role in Slavery” … and … “How long will the Jewish role in slavery be hidden?”
Ariel is simply the best in the biz. He got Rampage to open up and sound like a normal person. I want to hang out with both of them now. Very cool video.
haha I learned all about Asian hospitality in terms of helping you when you are lost from playing Shenmue on Dreamcast.
lol at Ariani asking the same Forrest fight question twice was he even listening
And Japanese crowds are weird even in music concerts. They all clap in unison, sit down politely and there’s like no mosh pits or people going nuts.
Also hes right about religion. A lot of its to control people and to insinuate betterness or prejudice
and lol “Black people have big dicks and y’all Jews have big noses”
best interview!!!
nice interview, not really a rampage fan, but i enjoyed that a lot
You can tell that Ariel does that fake Jew-boy “I’m cool with you bro’ ” act … and Rampage knows it and hates him deep down inside. One of these fighters will go off on Hawani … the guy truly is a jerk.
Ariel is the best interviewer in the biz– everybody else sucks!
awesome!!! one of the best up close and personal interviews ever. Rampage is as real as they come. Hawani is the only person who could have pulled that interview off.
@bob have you ever seen Ariel be a jerk? cause i’ve seen his work for years and haven’t seen him be rude or be a jerk once. I have seen him ask tough questions that people don’t want to be asked but they were always questions that were totally relevant and important.
Come to think of it, i don’t think there are any mma interviewers who i have a problem with. Obviously, some are better than others.
perfect!
@Bob
you’re an idiot! shut the F*** up with your slavery s***! we’re in 2012!
None of either Jackson’s or Helwani’s close ancestors have been anywhere near involvement in slavery. You think Ariel’s Grampa owned a slave ship and Rampage’s Granny was aboard?
That was uncomfortable to watch
Rampage looks like he just left the set of Rocky V.
@Bob, stfu already with your racist crap nobody cares there many other forums online u will be very welcome, just not here.
Loved the vid. Very cool idea from Ariel, very cool for him to handle the questions on the fly, and man, what’s not to like about Rampage being real. Very solid and shows the respect level Ariel gets, even though he asks some pretty uncomfortable questions.
@FailSonnen
haha I thought I was to only one who played Shenmue :=) ahh memories
@DavidJones
nice trolling haha
