alot of good knees but Rampage but mostly good takedown defense as these two super strong wrestlers face off…didn’t get exciting until about 7 minutes into the first round when both received yellow cards..that’s when Rampage opened up a can of whip ass!! Rampage then calls out Wanderlei and the drama ensues….it was ironic that during his fight with Silva, it was the yellow card that pushed Silva to open up a can of whip ass…gotta love Pride…

Boring fight. Randleman kept trying for the takedown and looked like he was trying to hump Jackson’s midsection all fight. Jackson shouldn’t have been penalized for stalling when Randleman was basically pinning him in the corner every chance he got.

Classy move from Wanderlei, of course. Not that anyone expects him to act with class, but it’s still pathetic when he can’t stay out of a ring that doesn’t involve him that day.

i remember on another video there was comments about wethr ropes were better than cages….and there was a comment bout how cages favor the wrestler cuz they can just push and hold the guy against it…..as u can see in thiis fight, it doesnt matter.
and cages remain superior to the mma style of fighting.

This fight and the Arona fight made Rampage my fave LHW. I did lose respect for Wandi after this. Good fighter, crazy ass but little class. Ape or not…Champs don’t act like that.

Good fight. Quinton has some amazing power. Seems like the losses to Wanderlai and Shogun were just inexperience/lack of a good camp. Bet he’d smoke em both now days.

The whole thing with Wandy/Rampage at the end was purely for the crowd. I dunno if it was staged, but both of these guys are entertainers. They know how to hype a match, and that’s all it was. Although it probably doesn’t help that they don’t seem to like one another. I find it about as disrespectful as GSP’s “I’m am not impressed by your performance.”

Rampage never looked like he was in trouble in that fight, not for one second. He just handled Randleman completely. He punished that body with knees so badly that Randleman ended up blocking his body when the knee came to his chin.

Wandy must be frustrated in the UFC. He knows he can kick the champ’s ass, but he just can’t get to him! I predict a strong comeback for Silva against Jardine. KO baby!

after seeing the 2 fights between wandy and rampage, rampage quickly became my favourite fighter cuz of his heart and determination and not willing to give up! dude took about 30 knees to the head before he went down!
