The UFC light heavyweight champion out lasted the Pride champion when Quinton Rampage Jackson Defeated Dan Hollywood Henderson At UFC 75. The fight went back and forth and most rounds were close until the end. Jackson ended up out pointing Henderson on all three cards to take the belt home and brought a mix of cheers and boos from the sold-out O2 Arena in London, England.
Jackson appeared to get stronger as the fight went on and began to control Henderson when it went to the ground. When the fighters were on their feet they both held and only released for short striking bursts until the last two rounds where they traded punches more. Near the end of the last round they both let the fists fly until Henderson took Jackson down. Just before the final bell Jackson got back to his feet and got in one last good shot.
The fight looked closer than the judges (48-47, 49-46, 49-46) cards could show. Henderson put up a great effort in his losing battle and has nothing to be ashamed of. Jackson looked to be a much better fighter than he did his last match against a Pride fighter.
