Most picks are GSP by decision. That’s kinda sad when everyone expects you to just lay n pray and when another boring decision. GSP it’s time to start finishing guys are your never gonna be the Micheal Jordan of MMA. Joe Dog brought up a good point. Nick Diaz does have a lot of scar tissue which can lead to problems if GSP lands some GNP, which I’m sure he will. A stoppage is a likely scenario as well. I guess the hardest part for GSP will be listening to Diaz trash talk mid fight if he decides to hold Diaz down for 5 rds.

Even if this fight stays standing it’ll be a win for GSP. Everyone talks about Diaz’s stupid slapping punches etc etc. Blah Blah. And then you get the one douche that still mentions the Serra fight (the first one only of course) where GSP got clipped behind the head. Bitch Please. Remember part2? Then everyone was afraid of GSP getting knocked out by Alves. Same story over and over. GSP has better standup than everyone he has faced, but his transition game is so good it overshadows his striking. Even if you guys want to talk about how much better a boxer Diaz is over GSP – that’s a moot point because GSP’s constant threat of takedowns throws people off their standup game. On the feet GSP has solid boxing (but not the hardest puncher i’ll admit) and solid kicks, but he’ll play the smart game. I even have a feeling that He has been preparing for the Middle fingers of Diaz and will probably use those opportunities to set something up. Diaz, that punk, will be in for a seriously rude awakening, and I’m going to enjoy every minute of it.
