Midday Tuesday the California State Athletic Commission announced that Phil Baroni tested positive for two different types of steroids.
Baroni has been suspended for one year and fined $2,500. The two steroids found were Stanozolol and Boldenone. Boldenone is usually used in the treatment of horse injuries to speed healing. Boldenone was also used in the early days of body building. One bad problem with this steroid is that there can be signs of it in your system for as much as 5 months.
Baroni claims to have not knowingly take the drugs and plans on clearing his name.
