Well, I’m happy to see that Filho had the Cardio to go three rounds. So this kind of answers some questions about what would have happened had Filho not been injured during the tournament that Kazuo ended up taking.

What the hell were these judges and announcers watching? At no point except maybee breifly in the 3rd round was Filo winning the fight. Kang had more clean takedowns and better ground and pound. Kang reversed everything Palo did on the ground with no damage taken. palo even had mount and did nothing except get reversed.In a average bad judge’s eyes that was a 2 to 1 round win for Kang! These judges were just horrible!

Yeah, I think Kang dominated the fight in almost every position, including from the bottom. Filho only had an advantage for about 20 seconds.
Anyway, it’s good to see Filho getting motivated enough to get in shape for a fight.

very honest decision….not a to put on a show and please the crowed…Never see draws in UFC. Good call, I couldnt tell the winner at all.. and Im a Filho fan..Used to train with him in Guarapari Brasil back in 1998 when he was all Jiu jitsu…

I saw it as a draw actually when I watched it. funny people r thinking Kang won. IMO Kang – round 1, Filho – 2 and round 3 even if anything to Filho for more damaging blows and top position longer but round 3 was real back and forth could’ve gone either way. Cant really be upset when you let it go to the judges.

Neither belong in the UFC. One fight doesn’t cut it. They have to earn it back. They both got it handed to them in the UFC/WEC. With so many other good fighters, it is a steep ladder to climb.
