Nice timing for this video, I read a Big John interview last week where he said Scott Morris’s corner refused to throw in the towel and actually ended up throwing it in the audience. (You can see Big John looking and pointing at his corner) Back in that UFC and the one before, the refs did NOT have the power to stop a fight so technically Big John couldn’t of stopped the beatdown on his own, fortunately Pat Smith mis understood what Big John was saying and thought he had won ended the fight…

jesus christ!! i guess the ufc didn’t stop fights back then until someone stopped breathing…that fight should have been stopped before the elbows started being thrown. this era of ufc seems too much like a B 1990’s underground fight to the death tournament movie.
