Good luck but I think Cote is going to break your nose again. I just hope it’s a fun, exciting fight! Log in to Reply Gauss June 28, 2012 War Côté!! Log in to Reply rashad'smom June 28, 2012 I fear Cote is overlooking Cung Le….don’t be surprised to see Cote be on the wrong side of a highlight reel knockout…Cung Le is no joke Log in to Reply icolater June 28, 2012 Patrick Cote for me does not belong in the UFC with the elite of the sport, in my opion he is average at best, looks to me like they are feeding Cung a can (or the closest you’ll get to a can in the UFC). Hope Cung puts on a good show and reignites his MMA Career, he is good to watch but feel he is only a couple of defeats away from retiring. Log in to Reply Iron_Cobra June 28, 2012 Hopefully cote has worked on his wrestling. I always thought he had great hands and good power. It’s anybodies fight but I think cote wants it more. Log in to Reply Iron_Cobra June 28, 2012 Oh and what’s with the movie quotes??? Tommy toe hold is in everybodies head. Love that show! Log in to Reply T-Bone15 June 28, 2012 Sounded like a GSP voice-over in the first few seconds haha. Haven’t seen him fight in a while so it should be interesting. Log in to Reply gibby35412 June 28, 2012 Cote always had a lot of potential. Good boxing, solid power and a very durable chin. With improved wrestling and jiu jitsu, he can give nearly any 185 fighter a run for their money in my humble opinion. Log in to Reply ha June 29, 2012 Cote and Cung is a great match up for both of them, but I’m not sure other who they’ll be able to beat besides weaker strikers, without wrestling or BJJ. Anyone with HS wrestling and a yellow belt taps both these guys… Pat says he’s improved but it doesn’t matter against Cung Lee…This is a meaningless fight, the UFC needs to source young hungry talent not experienced one dimensional guys Log in to Reply danada June 29, 2012 This will be a really fun fight mostly because Cote has such an incredible chin. It’s nearly impossible to drop him, and I think he’s a much better striker (and more talented all-around) than bums like Scott Smith. Lets not forget that Smith knocked out Cung Le. This will be entertaining because Cote can absorb damage, and Cung can throw such a variety of kicks and punches. I think Cote will win though. He’ll walk through a combination and deliver a big right hook. Log in to Reply jdogg June 29, 2012 Bad matchup for Le. I really like Cung Le but I don’t think he will win this one either. Looks like it will be 0-2 for Cung in the UFC. He’ll always have a promising movie career ahead of him though. Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick June 29, 2012 @ha You are a hater and like every hater you are an idiot. There’s no yellow belts in BJJ. Log in to Reply wcoastassassin June 30, 2012 Cung is old as hell guys. He is just trying to get a few more paydays while he still can. Log in to Reply wcoastassassin June 30, 2012 My God the movie quotes are horrible though. Stay away from acting, whatever you do Cote Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
