Guy was getting hit and knocked down but his reflects and ability to pop up, get out of submission attempts and still decent footwork should have been allowed to be taken in to consideration. Ref had his back to him and couldn’t even see him bounce up. Eyes didn’t go blank. I’m just shaking my head. Was he getting his ass beat? ure but he was still in the fight. Period. Damn that boy wasnt going out like that. clearly could have continued, he popped up quick.both great fighters for sure. Thanks for the vid! Log in to Reply asdsad August 1, 2013 Man that guy has quick recovery. Guy gets KO’d almost 3 times in one round, I say good stoppage. You’ll notice the guy never actually got up from the last one or complained. He was out on his feet from the 2nd one. But damn, that recovery is quick. Reminds of old Wanderlei. Log in to Reply Noel August 1, 2013 As it’s been pointed out, the guy didn’t complain. You can be out on your feet without being “out of it.” I say good stop. The ref was there seeing the guy wasn’t reacting to the punches coming at him. TKO is TKO. Nothing says someone has to be incapacitated for the fight to be stopped. On another note, I notice how Bellator fighters don’t get on their bicycles as a way to defend against the punch. Instead, they are more likely than UFC fighters to slip punches and counter. And when they get hit, they don’t run away. Log in to Reply Jack August 1, 2013 I think Bellator has more exciting fighters. Fight for fight far more entertaining than the boring azz UFC!!
