Oscar De La Hoya Thinks Rory MacDonald Should Have Went For The Kill Against BJ Penn.
He was too busy showboating. Seriously, Rory can say he wasn’t doing it on purpose, but it made him look like a douche bag that night.
Interesting feedback. The only fighter I’ve seen with powerful jabs to the body is GSP. Not even Diaz, Rampage and Cigano… hm.
who cares if people show boat i don’t get why viewers get so upset about it like in every sport there’s show boating get over it if that’s happening to you and you don’t like it guess what do something about it! god even in video games people show boat. i thought it was kinda cool when Rory did that it showed he was enjoying himself and he took a page out of Ali’s book. plus if you watched the primetimes he was doing that in practise too.
The movement and flow of Mohamed Ali and Anderson Silva look natural therefore to me, it never seems like they are “showboating”. Rory and Rashad Evans in the other hand look disrespectful and dumb because they have to force it
Gotta respect the opinion of De La Hoya
i would have appreciated the showboating if he did it right before a finish but he didnt finish so he was wasting time and it had no impact on the fight it just looked dumb
First off, the problem with the showboating for me is that he didn’t finish him! If you’re gonna try embarrass the guy showboating, you better embarrass him fighting too.
Anderson showboats and clowns the guy and then knocks the out!
@mma made easy
Rory threw hooks to the body,not jabs.
Oscar has no room to talk. He couldn’t finish a man that came out of two weight classes to fight him.
Should have gone
@iron_cobra are you talking about the manny pacquaio fight? If so, you do realize that oscar moved down a weight class (147lbs) that he hadn’t previously fought in for atleast 7 years. Not to mention he was not the same oscar DLH as he was in 2001…
who’s Oscar de la Hoya
Gotta respect oscar- he is a legend.
