Chavez Jr. needs to grow up. Oscar is putting a positive spin on a terrible outcome. But then again, network vs. promotion does not guarantee a definitive outcome. HBO is just pushing the limits of its influence as the strongest network (in the populist opinion– I even heard John Daily or Stephen Colbert say something to that effect today). Thanks Bruno for widening our fight arts perspective! These greedy ass promotions are the reason boxing gets a bad reputation. Canelo vs Trout should have been an undercard for the Mayweather fight and was supposed to be but now Oscar greed changed all that. What a treat that would of been for the fans they need to take a page out of UFC book and see how Dana who is the best promoter in the business to see how the UFC takes care of the fans. Sorry Oscar not everyone has DVR you inconsiderate sellout! Log in to Reply ajmyers April 12, 2013 put it on DVR!?! thats sounds like a douchebag! Log in to Reply paddedummy April 13, 2013 Ya bt everyboy had a vcr even back in the 1980’s fcktards. Oscar is the only promoter who was actually a fighter himself so don’t go comparing him to the Don King of mma, if anybody is beeing greedy it is the suits at the tv network with the brutal announcers Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
