Definitely not an early stoppage, Alvarez got jacked right on the button and got wobbly. If that had gone on any longer, it would have been Taktarov in full mount doing the ground-n-pound or he would have taken Alvarez’s back and RNC’d him out. Either way, that overhand right ended the fight, no question.
