what a scumbag. they need to get a ref that can actually stop the fight once its over, so dickheads like that dont just keep beating a kod opponent.

How is that not worse then Babalu’s choke? The Kid’s amazing, but that “I’m so out of control, I’ll beat on some half-conscious dude” shit is lame.

What a brutal beating. Question: in this tourney, is closing the guard not allowed? Seems that way and I know that some organizations implement this rule.

either that or he wanted to use his legs to push off/keep kid at a distance. can they use submissions? cause armbars were there. kjat just looked lost on the ground.

i wonder if there was bad blood between the two- kid kept pounding kjat through the ropes, continued to pound after the bell, and then even as the ref tried to subdue him. but the worst part? kid sticks his tongue out then smiles at his beaten foe before standing up.

classless.

i think he kept going longer after the ref stoppage then Babalu did.

haha this is really similar to the babalu-heath fight; one fighter pounding the shit out of another for a long time before deciding that the conventional rules, of stopping when the referee pulls them off, is no fun

Thats as bad as the fight when Takanori Gomi went ape shit. These little japanese men have so much pent up anger. Need to get them off the gorilla testosterone shots.

don’t compare this shit to Babalu. Sobral held a choke, Kid beat a man Gomi/Azeredo style.

Holding a choke is nothing.

KID should have been disqualified

the only comparison to kid and babalu is they both continued on after the ref tried to pull them off.

but grd is right- holding a choke 3 seconds longer doesnt do any more damage to a person. but punching his face over a dozen more times does.

I think Katsuta needs to work on his GnP defense a little bit. Kid Yamamoto had his way with him from beginning to end.

It’s disrespectful of the sport and your opponent to continue fighting after you know the fight is over. Not to mention, it’s really dangerous. Was there bad blood between these two?

I am a Japanese. Please let me explain this game.
Since the translation site is used, please allow, although it is strange English.
Before a game, Yamamoto “does not understand what you will do, if a game starts.”
It had said, “Since I am a low rank, I may do anything to a higher rank.”
At this time, Katsuta is the 2nd place of ranking. Yamamoto is the 8th place.
Seven persons escorted the Katsuta side at the time of entrance.
20 or more persons escorted the Yamamoto side, and in the hall stirred.
Although the game started and the head collided by the first tackle, the referee has not noticed.
Even after Katsuta where the pace was confused continued getting an intense punch, and lost consciousness and the towel was thrown in as seen,
Yamamoto disregarded the referee and delivered an attack intentionally.
Furthermore, by next, ENSON Inoue thrust away and beat the seconds of Katsuta included in a stop,
and the punks of Yamamoto attached at the time of entrance pounced on the worst one all at once.
Since the fellow etc. was an amateur, the second of Katsuta hesitated the counterattack.
But in the punk, the pro shooter which was present in the same ringside had begun the exchange of blows by 1 to 12 as the partner.
RUMINA made ENSON settle down.
On the other hand, Yamamoto exchanged hugs of only almost unconscious Katsuta and a form, after being knocked.
The boss of 修斗 had got furious and war in the ringside was settled somehow.
Although the punk was raising a cheer in Yamamoto’s victory, http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/pict2/kak/200209/020916_kak_g6-1_b.jpg
in response to the shock, even booing did not take place to the occurrence of a suddenly [ spectator ] wholly.
Although it had said that it was reflecting on Yamamoto with the interview after a game, or the magazine,
and after several years pass, it has said, “The pro who did such thing purposely is natural” etc., and it is not examined at all.
Apart from this affair, Yamamoto violated the ring doctor and has received disposal. These are objective facts.

WTF!
Kid needs to be penalized… shouldn’t let one fighter ruin MMA sport. There is no explanation for this stupid act.

There is no room for anyone in MMA with that behavior…if the officials just let it off then they too should get their bags and get the hell out of this sport.
