Norifumi KID Yamamoto Vs Bibiano Fernandes Fight Video 2007 K-1 HERO’S GP

Bibiano Fernandes and “Kid” Norifumi Yamamoto was a good solid fight for all three rounds. Fernandes gave the HERO’S poster boy the toughest MMA battle he’s had in quite some time.

Yamamoto looked like he was carrying a little ring rust with him in his first fight back since his dislocated elbow in a wrestling match a few months back. He was not the super exited wild man that most people expect to see when he comes to the ring. Yamamoto did his best to keep the fight standing. He used a lot of combinations followed by leg kicks to pull ahead on the scorecards.

The little bit of time fought on the mat was mostly spent in Fernandes’ guard. Fernandes almost pulled off an armbar in the first round but Kid dropped some heavy punches from above throughout the remaining two rounds.

The Kid pulled off the unanimous win and improved his record to 16-1 .
