Log in to Reply bigFishLittlepond December 8, 2013 I like the WSOF but it is the minor leagues of the UFC that’s for sure. Even the production looks like a copycat of the WEC with the same announcer. Based in Vegas with a huge budget and getting a deal done with NBC before they put on a show or proved themselves in the MMA market. Either Mark Cuban got into promoting or the UFC is behind WSOF. Go to their website they already have plans to have shows in Brazil, Japan, UK, Central America and Mexico. I didn’t know Ray Sefo was a genius business man because the feat he’s accomplished in one year is unparalleled. When Dana White tells a fighter who owes him nothing (Ben Askren) to sign with the WSOF. Give me a break why would he care about a promotion he has nothing to do with? Put that next to almost every cast off from the UFC going straight to WSOF. Hey the UFC should be honest with us fans and not try and pull the wool over our eyes every five minutes. Then guys like me won’t sniff them out. And the greatest way WSOF helps the UFC and it’s agenda… guys the UFC cuts who they still want to control go straight to WSOF so they can’t help Bellator get stronger. Pretty smart. Create a minor leagues and all the great fighters you cut send them to WSOF so it becomes the second biggest promotion leaving Bellator in the dust. They are controlled opposition that is for sure. “The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves” -Vladimir Lenin Log in to Reply Doyle Brunson December 8, 2013 Its starting to look to easy for this guy. UFC may be a possibility. Log in to Reply tobes December 8, 2013 Man, I hope he keeps winning. Love watching this guy fight. Love his story. Make Dana White eat his words. Newell deserves a shot in the UFC. Log in to Reply Benny December 8, 2013 Define BUM-I mean Sabah! Log in to Reply wtf?! December 8, 2013 I think this guy definitely has an advantage when it comes to submissions. The fact that submissions cannot be defended using wrist control or tying up the gloves is a huge benefit for this kid. But of course he has a huge striking disadvantage. Either way, he’s athletic, he has tons of drive and determination. 2 name fighters, not cans like he has been fighting, and it’s time for the UFC. Not to mention he’s marketable as hell Log in to Reply freee December 8, 2013 just lost to a guy who has half an arm. never gonna live that one up for sure. LOL Log in to Reply paddedummy December 12, 2013 Why would Sabah or anybody take this fight? If I was him I might have been even more ashamed about beating up the one armed kid if I won. Ths is almost as bad as Fallon Fox assaulting women. So called champions punk out of super fights because of a 15 pound weight difference, actual b1tches fought on TUF and the last few UFC cards, and a new 135 pound weight class for midgets which is like watching 10 year old kids play fighting. MMA has come full circle and reverted back into more of a freak show than UFC 1 with no weight classes ever was! Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
