This interview was well edited rendering a no-nonsense, likeable Nick Diaz. I’m sure they cut 20 minutes of the usual Nick Diaz disjointed mota infused verbage to come up with a few seconds here. Looking forward to the Penn fight.

I actually don’t hate on Nick at all..I’m guessing english is not your first language and I’m sure that interview was heavily edited…If you think the way Nick Diaz acts regularily is normal I suggest you go back on your meds.

Some antidepressants cause massive weight gain, some don’t. I don’t know what, if anything, he takes but Lithium is largely salt based and water retention can be an issue. Though I think if you drink a lot of fluids and sweat often it shouldn’t be an issue.
I’m definitely not a doctor but I believe Nick’s issues are more of a chemical imbalance issue than psychotic. MAO inhibitors would likely play a huge role; enough so that he might not take them when training and oh hell yes that would explain some things. But that’s a large leap to assume any of this.
