Diaz is right about GSP not training or sparring hard because if he did serious stand up training George would get KO’d left and right. GSP is just a boring wrestler plain and simple who cannot even posture up to drop bombs. Diaz has never really lost against anyone, the losses to grapplers have been close decisions.
yes he isnt great at interviews, comes off a bit thuggish, but you can see in the countdowns hes just a emotional guy who gets NO JOY IN FIGHTING. he has often said he would much rather do triathlons or just teach Jiujitsu, he fights for money, and he deserves the big fights

I love the Diaz brothers, but the joke is I wouldn’t be shocked if GSP could hurt Nick more standing than vice versa. I’m not saying I’d expect it, but it wouldn’t shock me.
GSP hurt Condit more with his strikes than Diaz did, and he totally dominated him for 5 rounds. He took a solid shin to the temple and survived and dominated. He’s stood up with Thiago Alves and looked good. In fact, I don’t remember him ever being outstruck by an opponent (except that one punch from Serra) for a whole match.
Calling a man like that a p**** is simple haterism. Basic math shows that. Nick is sour and bitter and showing it.
But that’s part of why we love him. Nobody ever claimed he was either the sharpest analyst or the most objective judge of fights.
I really would love to see this fight and I hope that’s why Nick released this vid, to provoke it more. I really wouldn’t be surprised if Georges outstrikes Diaz.

Every MMA Fighter 100% has sustained Brain Damage Nick more than most given the shots he takes.

The Sport from which you get Brain Damage is irrelevant the very fact that you can get Brain Damage regardless of the severity is pretty sad.
Head Shots in other sports like Hockey even junior Hockey is being banned.
In MMA obviously you can’t ban Head Shots but perhaps protective head gear can minimize the severity.
After all in MMA small Gloves with padding are used mostly protects the hands from breaking in a fight but not 100% of the time.
If Gloves are used why not some form of head cushion for MMA.
The Brain Damage in the NFL & NHL are well documented it’s time MMA Brain Injuries are researched as well.
