Greg Jackson should have never told this guy he could keep competing. Now his fight purse will go to the doctors, surgeons, and orthodontists. This is said. Just plain sad.

YODA Says, in 3-24-2013 at 11:39:45 from

Say what you will about andrei, he took some hard shots and kept going. He still seemed like he had something in the tank. If the fight was a 5 rounder i think he could won by tko, johnson was so drained and he was just hugging on for dear life.

Dammmmm the ufc’s fighter insurance sure looks GREAT right about now.

Roe Jogan Says, in 3-24-2013 at 12:12:53 from

Virtually all reputable organizations have fighter insurance. But, this may go beyond that… he got F***ed up.

ken shiro Says, in 3-24-2013 at 12:47:16 from

His best days are behind him but he has the heart of a lion!!!

Adonis Says, in 3-24-2013 at 13:06:59 from

Im sure the guy is covered for this… and anyway Arlovski showed a lot of heart last night and I don’t think he’s washed up yet. This was a hard fight and Rumble was hugest we’ve ever seen him and he hits hard at 170 what about 60 more pounds added on the frame?

Ali Says, in 3-24-2013 at 14:17:45 from

For the amount of money main event guys make they can get their own medical insurance.

And some people were doubting Andrei’s chin.I guess he won’t be called glass jawed anymore.

FoodStampVoter Says, in 3-24-2013 at 18:13:15 from

I have always enjoyed watching Andrei A fight. Watch his earlier fights and he was always on his toes, very fast with big power.

Joe Dog Says, in 3-24-2013 at 18:31:22 from

Geeeez! I’m sure he’s contemplating his future (or not) in mma. He may never get cleared to fight, at least not in the US. Man, he really looks pathetic in that pic. Poor guy should have quit.

MMAgiantsilva Says, in 3-24-2013 at 19:15:46 from

Powertele I dont agree with your spelling but you are right. There is no way WSOF are gonna pay for all that.

wcoastassassin Says, in 3-24-2013 at 19:28:02 from

@ Ali I know you are probably a troll, do you really think AA made enough to have his bottom teeth knocked out and a broken jaw? The promoters and promotion don’t have to worry about getting a broken jaw, or orbital bone or all the other things that can happen. I would like to see you get your jaw broken at work and they just say “Oh, we pay him enough, he can afford to take care of it.” Giving Ali’s a bad name man.

Huge fan of Andrei’s – it’s hard not to feel for him here. He’s a frickin warrior though

Cro Cop Fan Says, in 3-24-2013 at 19:35:03 from

Hang em up already

vagrant4 Says, in 3-24-2013 at 22:53:52 from

Hey Guy,

Give him a break. Be it lose or win, he has the heart to go on.

JJ Says, in 3-24-2013 at 23:16:00 from

Well first off, he showed some balls in there and he can be proud of himself. Sure he got f***** up a bit, but this is fighting business. He’ll get his his jaw wired (if it’s broken) and his teeth fixed and he can do whatever he desires. And Jackson is not the one to make decisions for Andrei. He actually didn’t look that bad and Johnson has a lot of work on his stamina to do if he wants to go higher up the ranks

Jondoe Says, in 3-25-2013 at 00:16:15 from

That guy johnson…he break my jaw, he break my teeth, he give me brain damage.

steveslade Says, in 3-25-2013 at 00:33:05 from

lol…He make me look like a beetch.

shadow420 Says, in 3-25-2013 at 00:49:53 from

All organizations in the United States have to have medical coverage for the fighters on fight night only. WSOF will have insurance to cover his medical bills. I thought this was common knowledge. Andrei is covered.

Dave Says, in 3-25-2013 at 02:22:23 from

I can’t stand stupid jerk off couch potatoes calling fighters names and disrespecting them just because they lost a fight! this is just disgraceful.

I have no doubt that anyone who has trained or trains hard will never disrespect any fight for a loss. its usually the lazy couch potatoes who don’t know or understand what these guys go through to train.

Timzda Says, in 3-25-2013 at 04:36:38 from

Remember one of his other recent fights where his nose was totally mangled? It’s cringeworthy seeing him these days. He’s a shadow of his former self. That said AJ’s striking looked much improved.

greengiant Says, in 3-25-2013 at 06:03:51 from

@vagrant4 – your right on the money.AA is not washed up by any means and if he still wants to fight people should back off.Everyone that says “retire” does not know what a true warrior has inside,it never dies.

greengiant Says, in 3-25-2013 at 06:04:42 from

AA,heal up,come back and kick some ass.

jdogg Says, in 3-25-2013 at 09:12:11 from

Well, he fixed his soft chin and broke it at the same time.

BisbeeHighGrade Says, in 3-25-2013 at 10:09:32 from

@Dave Says, well said friend, very well said. The truth is just that regardless of how some may choose to dress it up. Talk is cheap but training to fight and fighting are another beast all together. A+ for AA
