For those that don’t remember Pride 1 way back in 1997 even with the first Pride event they had one freak show bout.
Nathan Jones might not ring a bell as a fighter but many will know him for his acting roles in resent action movies. Jones had a rough start. He was sentenced to 16 years in Boggo Road Gaol for eight armed robberies between 1985-1987, two of them in Tasmania. During the robberies, he became one of Australia’s most wanted. He ended up serving seven years in the maximum-security prison. That’s where he started weightlifting.
Jones has changed his illegal ways and has had movie roles in Troy as the Greek champion, “TK” in the Protector, The Condemned and Fearless as Hercules O’Brien.
