Right on Welland Beach Badboy! I can’t stand either one of the Diaz brothers… narcisistic gangster wannabes. They’re rude, disrespectful, and way over-hyped. This chump got his ass handed to him for 99% of the fight. I know a win is a win, but the reality is that Pelligrino beat himself and Diaz just happened to be there to claim the victory. I really didn’t see anything spectacular about Nate’s performance other than his ability to take a serious beating. This isn’t the first time he’s gotten lucky. Yes, that’s right, lucky.

If Manny’s shoulder hadn’t popped out when he went for that take-down Diaz would have lost the finale of the reality show. Eventually they’ll put Diaz against someone in the Top 10 and he’ll get the taste smacked out of his mouth, just like his brother. The last 3 Nick Diaz fights have been garbage, and the UFC wants the public to think that Nate deserved his win at the finale. The Diaz brothers have only DECENT ground games, they’re nothing special, just loud and stupid.

Diaz is lucky Steve Mazzagatti wasn’t the ref, or it would have been called when Kurt got side control and started pounding on him.
Diaz is a great fighter for getting past the 1st round and winning in that fashion, but hamming it up when he had the triangle on Pellegrino was kind of a douchebag thing to do.

This was the fight I tuned in to see. My money was on Pellegrino all the way on this fight. I was right until he fell into that triangle… Outstanding battle.

I really didn’t expect that. Really thought pellegrino would take him. Slick finish, despite some shitty stand up on the part of Diaz. In rd.2 Nate feinted a body shot 3 times before following with the straight left. A good boxer would have fed him a counter right after the first feint. In order for that to be effective you feint the right to the body and follow with the straight left immediately. Even Pelegrino (not the best boxer) saw the left coming after 3 feinted rights. None the less Diaz hung in there took his lumps and pulled out a win.

A strong chin with lots of Diaz Tude, does not make a great fighter, a win is a win, I think he will get his ass handed to him if he fights a title match as some have sugested.
As for some that say he has the best ground game, it seems above average, not spectacular, he is well rounded and that will win you fights, I am not a fan - his attitude sucks, he does not respect his fellow fighters. His confidence and bravado are required for a fighter to believe in himself, pump himself up, but that kind of cellebration is uncalled for until the guy has tapped.

Nice win. I really thought the fight was going to end in the 1st. Nick & Nate talk kinda a crazy, but thats from the weed. What counts is the way they fight. I would love to see Nick come back to the UFC. But Nick has to bring the weed under control. At least test clean, and follow all your paper work to the end.
