i dunno, i went to his website. he was fighting with a broken foot. he couldnt find his range, couldnt work in the clinch, couldnt get a take down. prolly due to his broken foot. he feels bad about the fight. iono. he runs pretty quick with a broken foot. now imagine if it wasnt broken.. better not blink yo!

Kalib Starnes intentionally threw the fight.
He:
1) Got paid to lose or;
2) He is sick of UFC and wanted out of the contract.

Maybe Pride could pick him up and pay him real money; and we will see him kick ass!

I think he just trying to throw up smoke to cover the fact that he’s terrible. Even if that were true, I wouldn’t do it in front of my home crowd. So, not only did he NOT get his message across he also sabotaged his career as a fighter.

There is a release that said starnes did this purposely as vengance against the UFC corporation. He feels that the fighters are not compensated for being “injured on the worksite”. In other words, UFC is not paying the fighters’ medical bills. Dana white threw out a bonus to most of the fighters in the ballpark of around 75k supposedly to compensate for this. There will be a press conference held at his gym soon. Again, this is the rumor…

i knew kalib sucked from watchin him on the show. he has always ducked and ran away from high action. he keeps his head down and doesnt look at what he’s punchin. nate had to be stoked bout the easy win he was gunna get but also pissed at how far they dropped him in the ranks.
nate looks sharp. i’d like to see him drop down a class.
he has a better chance at gettin a belt or even a shot at the belt with rich and a. silva outta the way.
