Sonnen took T doses that were prescribed to him by his doctor, Nate took them not prescribed by a doctor (doctors are not athletic trainers, as Nate claimed who prescribed it to him). Secondly, Sonnen was acquitted on all charges or allegations by the California athletic commission. Nate has had a past with steroid use and that is why Dana (as he states in his interviews) sent Nate packing, unlike Sonnen. Both of their cases are completely different, where Sonnen had used T doses legally, and Nate did not. Dana didn’t even consider it being T doses or steroids and didn’t care, it was a past that Nate had with steroid use that sealed his departure from the UFC.
