Nate does not have elite BJJ… Penn would mop the floor with him, which would show you the difference between an elite grappler vs a great grappler.

nate and his brother are both great fighters. i do agree that he will do better than nick in the long run since he got to watch him make mistakes and learn from that.nate has elite BJJ and there was never a moment in that fight that he wasnt winning and in control…

Agreed Peter. Don’t get me wrong Nata has great BJJ… Elite is BJ Penn though “I know MMA”. Nate may get to that point way down the road but not yet.

beautiful jui jitsu. very impressive finishing a fight with a triangle choke. there arent alot of fighters than can succesfully finish fights via triangle choke in an mma bout. i agree with chute boxe to beat diaz your gonna have to hurt him standing up. the diaz brothers are a couple of my favorite fighters.

Nate Diaz is Mr. Underrated. His BJJ is elite and he looks to make a bigger name for himself than his overrated brother Nick Diaz.

You just can’t for a minute think that you can try to ground and pound diaz, or even control and hope for a decision. If he is on his back, you are in danger. If he is on top, you’re in danger. If you are in a scramble, watch out. I think you have to stand and push him around, hope it’s more lank than muscle when it comes down to it.

I love Nate Diaz….. In MMA, I think he works well under pressure. HE breathes properly, and he keeps working as Joe says. His technique is wonderful, I know when Manny was fighting him he was on the losing end, but I think that was all nerves. If they had a re-match Nate would win, and NAte could physically dominate most light weights. I know there will be some deuche bags saying other wise, but I know if faced B.J. Penn or maybe Roger huerta he would have some trouble. But I know he would tear War machine a new asshole! I hate war machine!
