the problem with these guys is that they justifiy everything they do. they are seriously messed up in the head. No Cowboy was not “walking foward on you” or “trying to get in your face bumping you” what Cowboy was doing was staring you down just as much as you were staring him down. Don’t understand why people think the Diaz brothers are stupid. Camera shy, maybe. Smoke a lot of pot? Probably. Not good in front of big crowds? Until they have to fight.
These guys are dedicated athletes with experience across several disciplines. Cerrone was definitely edging in, and Nate _clearly_ gave him some space. When Cerrone got too far in and opened his mouth, Diaz responded in kind. Sounds completely reasonable considering his profession and the particular person involved. MMA is as much, if not more a mental game than physical, and Nate is acutely aware of that fact.

On the one hand the UFC tries to do all this anti-bullying stuff and attempt to show this image of “hey these guys are athletes, they aren’t goons” and yet keeps idiots like the Diaz brothers on their roster.
I think the UFC should institute a new policy. Fighters have a duty to be good ambassadors of the sport at all times. Similar to the NBA a couple years ago when they said all players must come with suits on. Same s***.
