NASCAR Driver Mike Skinner Shows Off New Affliction MMA Sponsorship

Affliction Entertainment attempts to reach out to millions of rednecks around the world with the sponsorship of NASCAR driver Mike Skinner.

Affliction Entertainment teams up with NASCAR’s Michael Waltrip Racing for this weekend’s Pepsi 500 at the Auto Club Speedway in San Bernardino County, Calif. for a one-race deal to sponsor the No. 00 car driven by Mike Skinner.

Affliction Day of Reckoning sponsored Toyota will be covered with graphics promoting the upcoming Oct. 11 pay-per-view event at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Top-five ranked heavyweights and former Ultimate Fighting Championship titleholders Josh Barnett and Andrei Arlovski headline Affliction’s second event.

The newly wrapped stockcar was on disply today during testing for this weekend’s Pepsi 500 at the Auto Club Speedway in San Bernardino County, Calif. The 250-lap event will start at 8 p.m. ET on Aug. 31 and will be shown on ABC.

did anyone else notice when they had the affliction banned, they didn’t waste time in between fights.. ufc you pay 45 dollars, and hear a bunch of bullshit.. affliction is fight after fight, after fight.. way more entertaining.. i hope the next event is like that too.

He’s doing ok in the truck series, but he’s only raced a handful of events in the top level series this season. I suppose the most concise answer to your question is that he’s unproven: an analogy would be that he’s like a guy from an obscure camp that’s really only fought in feeder shows.
