HomeFight Videos Must Be A 3 Knockout Rule In Effect – David “The Crow” Loiseau vs Mike Kent At ECC 18 Bruno October 30, 2013 Fight Videos 19 Comments Hey ref, I think you read the rules wrong. I have never heard of the 3 knockout rule. The Crow takes all of 15 seconds to make Mike Kent go sleepy sleepy. The bout took place on October 25, 2013 in Halifax Canada. Thank Mickey P for the link. And I lost alot of respect for Loiseau. He knew the other guy had no buisness in the ring with him but he still kept wailing on him even if he knew the guy was out. Log in to Reply nexstory October 30, 2013 1. Loiseau needs to be punished by watching an endless video loop of Machida holding back after he knocked Munoz out. 2. The ref needs to be punished by watching and reffing grass grow. Log in to Reply Doyle Brunson October 30, 2013 Why are you panzys crying about it? Plain and simple if the ref doesn’t stop the fight and the guy is still moving keep ****in hittin him! Nice KO Log in to Reply dont be a bitch October 30, 2013 That really wasn’t so bad….. P.s. nice video, for being shot on a potato. Log in to Reply Iron_Crow October 30, 2013 David loiseau is a beast but just couldn’t keep a consistent run in the UFC. Log in to Reply wreckitralph October 30, 2013 He could have stopped it on the knockdown but Kent is the type to wake up after getting hit again. Ref should have recognized he was hurt in a devastating manner. Knockdown/ko hit ground and he’s conscious whacked out again woken up but another shot…repeat lol. The ref was a little slow but not a butcher job imo Log in to Reply Ozinator October 30, 2013 The ref sucks but how about the “medical” staff? A couple of soccer moms let the guy stand up as they pat him on the back and ask him if he’s ok? lol Log in to Reply Noel October 31, 2013 That was horrible all the way around. 1. Doctors looked like they had no clue what to do. 2. Ref was way, way too slow. 3. And Loiseau for hitting the guy after he was out and bouncing his head off the mat a few times. Something I don’t hear talked about too much is guys hitting the mats with their heads wither when they get thrown down, knocked down, or when they get pounded into the mat. Most of it is unavoidable but what is avoidable is what is demonstrated on this video. JDS just took 22-23 minutes of beating to his face (not to mention Cain v. JDS II) but what finally knocked him out? A faceplant into the mat. Log in to Reply JayHay October 31, 2013 I can see how this can be upsetting to some people, but keep in mind guys this is the fight game. Some people are model guys, and the others understand that it takes an impressive knockout to get noticed. Also, unless you’ve been there in the ring in front of a crowd competing you can’t understand those few seconds when I fight is ending that if I stop hitting him MAYBE the ref will interfere, your only attachment from reality and your primal self is that referee breaking it up. David is just trying to put on a performance, they weren’t any more extreme that any knockout on any given event, it was moments of syncope with lucid intervals, he was in and out until david put him completely out and the ref came in. Log in to Reply RogerD October 31, 2013 Not that bad… more like 3 flash knockouts and he wasnt gonna come back and win, so the fights over. The white dude does try to pull guard after he hits the ground. The crow only hit him a few more times on the ground to secure the win.. Weidman plummeted on Munoz wayyyyy more than that. Also same goes for Carwin pounding on an unconscious Mir. Log in to Reply Ragnarok-MMA October 31, 2013 i see some things in these kind of fights that nobody have seen, i like to know how is the athletic commission regulate, and if they are capable to sanction this type of events Log in to Reply Tesla Coil October 31, 2013 The ref should have jumped in earlier for sure, but the guy kept moving and had his hands up. $hit happens, and let’s face it, The crow hit a guy that was actually moving. It’s not like he knocked his ass out, the guy’s eyes are rolled back or closed and he keeps hammering away and the guy’s body is stiff and his expression doesn’t change. In the heat of the moment, all you see is you knock the guy down, he blinks, but then moves, so you hit him, he moves again, you hit him, rinse and repeat. The ref should have stopped it earlier for sure, but for a “championship” fight, I guarantee that the guy who got his a$$ kicked would have wanted the benefit of the doubt that he might recover and come back. Bruno: I forget about it. I will look when I can. Log in to Reply Crocography October 31, 2013 Still by far the worst second punch I have ever seen was from Dan Henderson against Bisping, when Bisping was already knocked out lying on the canvas. I thought Dan was classless and am no longer a fan. Log in to Reply sooooopernate October 31, 2013 A lot of people on here are commenting on the Doctor’s not knowing what they’re doing, and there’s a reason for that. I was listening to the Co-Main Event Podcast, and they revealed that often cage side doctors are not doctors at all, they can be anybody with vague medical knowledge, or even worse: chiropractors. It’s an economics issue, great doctors make great money, and rinky dink shows do not pay great money. Log in to Reply bgbgb October 31, 2013 I can’t believe ppl are criticizing Loiseau here. Each time the guy went out it lasted a whole 0.75 secs. If you really expect him to back off without one really big shot (like Machida’s headkick) when the guy was never out for more than a split second then you expect him to lose, period. The fight should have been stopped a little earlier but Loiseau is not at all to blame for that guy taking extra punishment. The guy never went stiff and he was still moving. Log in to Reply bgbgb October 31, 2013 If you guys want to see a fight where you can criticize this kind of thing just go watch Munoz vs Weidman. That was some PRIDE level brutality.
