“Munoz is injured and out of the FOX fight,” White posted via Twitter. “Now it’s Chael Sonnen vs. Mike Bisping Jan. 28, and the winner will fight Anderson for the title.”

Bisping would be better suited to fight Silva then he is Sonnen..

What Bisping lacks in power, he certainly has in Technical perfection.

wow I hope your being sarcastic. Bisping would be knocked out in less than a minute against Silva. He’s slow with no punching power and his wrestling is no where near that of Sonnen’s.. After watching the first Sonnen-Silva fight, how can you say Bisping is more suited to fight Silva?

I disagree, only because what bisbing accells in (cardio, and stricking), silva is much better…at least chael has a wrestling advantage (doubt it will help him much this second time).

Either way, bisbing would be a boring ass match, so I hope chael wins. If munoz won, he’s not ready for silva anyway, he can keep training more after he heals now.

Sonnen has been submitted 8 times, i cannot believe everyone is just counting out bispings ground game against chael sonnen. Bisping has a better shot at finishing sonnen than sonnen has at finishing him !!!

Yo guys, I love Sonnen but Bisping is a lot better than what you guys are giving him credit for. I don’t think it’s going to be an easy fight for Sonnen at all. I do hope Sonnen wins and then kicks Silva’s ass for sure, but he’d better not be over looking Bisping (which I hope he’s not)….

The reason Bisping stands a better chance against Silva is simply because of the fighting styles.. Bisping vs a very good wrestler he may just end up been ground and pounded for 3 rounds.

i wish this was a 5 round fight as well.

Yes silva has skill, but even he was on his back for 4.5 rounds vs sonnen, so i can only hope Bisping plans on running circles around Sonnen otherwise its a long night for Bisping.

This should be an interesting fight. If Bisping can avoid the take downs, he’l out box Sonnen for 3 rounds and take the win. I think people are terribly underestimating Bisping here. We shall see soon enough!

two a******* fighting each other but i have to say no one will ever top chael for assholness, Chael is just in another level in that term. thats the first time ever that i actually would want Bisbing to win, but when i think about it it wouldn’t be bad if Cheal wins because it would be really satisfying to see his ass kicked by Silva!

Bisping is definitely improving and evolving so I don’t think its going to be an easy fight for Chael esp since he will be weaker without his injections!! I will go with Bisping with this one bc his boxing is getting sharp and his wrestling is good enough to neutralize the take down. But he has underestimated Muay Thai and BJJ!!
If Chael wins Anderson is going to murder him!!

I agree with you alwaysright, Bisping has some of the best TDD in the MW division, he gets right back up…he may not be a better boxer than Chael, but i think his speed and footwork can win him enough points to possibly squeak out a decision…then we can feed him to the spider
