Edgar is a class act and I’m baffled when I see people hating on him. People bashed him when he was just sitting quietly analyzing his last fight, albeit surrounded by obnoxious friends and family, in a video leading up to this most recent fight. I love watching his fights, he was a warrior spirit and an iron will. But it seems like the guys that “never” get knocked out early in their careers eventually get caught and never regain that granite chin. Hopefully he keeps evolving, including shoring up his D and I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the Edgar-Aldo fight. It’s interesting because Aldo seems to be disadvantaged by making such a big weight cut and Edgar is relatively small for his division. So, does Aldo go up a division? Edgar go down a division? Or do they fight at a catch-weight in the middle?

Intelligent, well spoken, humble and hungry. I’m sold. Look….I gotta come clean here, I been hatin on Franky for a while cuz he pitter pattered the belt away from BJ (one of my all time favorite fighters)but I can see now he did what he had to do. He did that interview with a gnarly ass shiner, didn’t wear no shades, willingly and openly admitted Gray hurt him multiple times….what’s not to love? The fact that he was able to close the trilogy with a finish is icing on the cake.

Edgar is good but no where near top 2 p4p i would def rank somewhere in the top 8, no way is he ahead of GSP or Aldo maybe even BJ should still be ranked higher, because BJ has conquered 2 divisions in the past and has fought at 185 and 205, considering what p4p means that is.
