I honestly think if a fighters sets the pace for a real MMA fight against A.Silva… Silva has a high chance of loosing since he is a knockout artist.

In my opinion, that’s what separates Fedor and Silva. Fedor can roll with anyone, in any game plan.

Silva can only roll in his game plan. If stupid Hendo had stuck to his plan… he would have won… he got too ballsy and got choked out. look at round 1 compared to 2. It was a crappy wrestling display by Hendo, disappointing, and I think that’s why A.Silva said that the only champion he’s faced was Franklin.

If Cote goes into the fight with a plan, and it involves more than just punching I think he has a chance… A.Silva is more beatable than Fedor, that’s why Fedor is #1, no weakness in his game.

I have never seen someone get slammed so hard that it looked like they may lose there life not just be knocked the fuck out but then just get up like some one had woke them up in the morning and decide that it is time to end the fight like Fedor did against Randleman!
I am not an all knowing MMA lover I just like watching fights and Fedor is pretty special and I think with his record you have to give him number one at the moment.
Silva just seems to be gettin better and better though, he has lost in the past but his performances are continuously improving and he dominates fights and makes them look so easy, very close in second but soon to edge ahead.

The 4 guys who have beaten Silva do put a bit of doubt in my mind, yes.

Anderson Silva is without a doubt the best pound for pound fighter on earth he beat Rich Franklin, Travis Lutter (on the ground), Chris Leben (was only a stepping stone, but still an impressive knockout), James Irvin, Carlos Newton, Dan Henderson all great fighters so those of you that said he never beat top fighters just shut up you haven’t a clue Fedor only beat two top fighters Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Tim Sylvia! Fedors probably no.2 though…

Fedor has a better record than Silva. Fedor has beaten more big names than Silva (pretty much all of them, in fact). Fedor is more well rounded than Silva and is WAY better with takedowns, which is key in MMA. Essentially, what Frank Mir is saying is that it is impossible for a heavyweight to be #1 P4P because if you take a miniature of them, they wouldn’t beat a lightweight. That is just silly. BJ Penn wouldn’t beat Randy Couture if he had to wear 50 lbs of sandbags in the fight! Just look at who has been the most dominant for the longest in their division. That’s what it boils down to. Fedor has beaten everybody who has beaten everybody who is worth talking about. Essentially, all Silva has done is prove that he is a better kickboxer than Rich Franklin. I would favor GSP and a number of other wrestlers over Silva. He has never looked that impressive on the ground. You want to talk about ass kissing? Listen to the announcers during any Silva fight. I don’t want to hear it. Either say what Fedor needs to do to prove himself, or quit barfing all over this forum with the same crap the 10 other people are saying.

pingaloca knows nothing about mma, the fedor tim fight was no fluke, big tim is a horrible fighter period , hes very uncoordinated and his legs are bumblefuck, i mean it looks like hes walking on stilts hes knees are bent out and hes got the duck feet going, throw that fucker a golf club and and i bet he swings worse than big charles barkley, all of big tims wins were against no name bums, and yes AA is a no name bum considering he hasnt beat any1 worth salt either. AA will not last a round with the great one. if AA comes at Fedor with his hands down swinging all wildly like he did against big ben rothwell then its goodnight sweet prince. And yes his ballz taste good mmmmmm lol

I don’t mean to be funny dick, just because the majority of the people who come to this site love those fedor nutz. It doesn’t mean that people are not entitled to their opinion, because they don’t get on the bandwagon. So, dick, there are people who are not fedor dick riders and have different perspectives. mindbond, although, big tim lost, I stil believe that it was a BIG FLUKE! Tim didn’t learn his leason from randy, and paid for it, but surely he has learn his leasson and in a rematch it won’t happen again.

Also, prior to the fight, there were barely any post, it seemed like the huggers were doubtful, but after the fight. Man, it was like a swarm of nut huggers rushed to their computers and began to hug on a grand scale. What if he would’ve lost and surely he’ll lose to arlovsky and then what would you nuthuggerz say??? I wonder what would happen to all those nut huggers if fedor were lose the next couple of fights. All, I forgot that fedor is “unbeatable.”

I notice they said Gina and Kimbo are the only real star power EliteXC has…they must be forgetting KJ Noons, Nick Diaz, Frank Shamrock and Kung Le. None of those puny UFC guys can hang with the Russian. Barnett or Cotoure are the only ones who could even think about beating him, and I just don’t see it happening.

Wow, thats and idiotic statement if ive ever heard one. Though i didnt expect Fedor to put Tim away that fast, it was not a fluke, if they rematch Tim will wind up in an arm-bar no doubt. Though BJ, GSP, and Anderson are all brilliant fighters and no doubt in the pfp picture, none of them would stand a chance. Anderson might put up a fight, but once Fedor gets caught a couple times he’d put him in an arm-bar real fast.

There’s hardly a heavy weight that would beat fedor right now… the only one that could stand a chance to make it longer in the ring with him is, and has been josh barnett, but after his performance against rizzo i doubt it.
