ok and the fighters have made this sport as popular as it is, not dana loser white. Pride was kicking the UFC’s ass, Pride, wanderlei, fedor sakuraba etc etc has made mma what it is today and not some loser names Dana White.

Dana needs to explain why RJ vs silva would be bad for mma in the long run.dana offered floyd mayweather jr a million dollars to face sean sherk in the octagon. so i dont get it. IMO maybe dana fears anderson silva will “box” roy jones in the octagon which might give roy a improbale chance. silva obviously knows he can easily take RJ in an mma match. and i would think RJ knows that too.and we all know silva wants to test his “boxing” ability vs RJ. so with that being said, that could be a possible scenario mr dana white could be avoiding, which would definitely be a bad thing for mma in the long run.

but back to my other point, its funny how dana offered mayweather a $ mill to step in the ring with sean sherk. knowing that sherk would shoot right out of the gates and beat the sh!t outta mayweather on the ground. was he tryna take out boxing’s pound for pound best at the time, and now with the UFC’s pound for pound best up against a boxer, he pulls the plug??? i dont get it..

MMA is bigger and better than boxing. I can understand if boxing wanted to bring in AA to boost ratings but on the other hand why bring in a boxer to mma it might boost ratings but the ratings aren’t bad in the first place and far better than boxing. Dana wants nothing to do with boxing and i don’t blame him its a bigger and better sport and isn’t in need of help from washed up has beens.

a ‘has been’ roy jones would pull in for a bigger event to mma than a ‘has been’ marc coleman.

gina carano a Muay Thai fighter is the pioneer that will take women in pro sports to another level.

had mayweather stepped foot into the octagon, that alone it wouldve been a monumental and history in the making for this young prospering sport. having roy jones with his decades of loyal fans follow him into the octagon to fight silva would be massive for this sport in the long run. the introductions before the fight alone would be worth remembering.
