I would love to see Michael Bisping vs. Wanderlei Silva at 185lbs…Bisping should be taken alot more seriously given that he had a split decision against Rashad, while Lidell and Forrest lost to Rashad….Bisping may be just a fight away from a championship title, and I wouldn’t be too quickly to bet against him…

Patrick is on Page’s nuts but rightfully so… Rampage is an exciting fighter who finishes top tier talent and, arguably, didn’t lose his title in the first place. Yes, both Machida and Silva have been on a tear, but I think the winner of that fight gets a title shot against whoever is the champ at that time, be it Rampage, Evans, or whoever fights for the title in the meantime.

If you know anything about the ufc you would have noticed that title shots aren’t given out fairly and if you were a true mma fan you would have seen that dana white said rampage is ready for a title shot after the post press conferences. I agree with you that it SHOULD be the winnier of thiago and lyoto that get the title shot but will it be…. i gaurantee you it won’t. The next fight is rampage vs rashad and i hope rashad gets ko’d. I guess this is an internet only show that may be close to a tv spot on ESPN. That would be great because I watch the Bas Rutten HDNET show every week.
I think they need to keep K-Flo and get two new commentators. Frank Shamrock, Trigg, and Mir all have done a good job when they did it.
Bas is the best stillon the HDNET show.

I think you guys are a bit too hard on Franklin McNeil. I didn’t see any of the Rampage “nut-hugging” that you guys did.

Is he partial to black fighters? Sure. But that’s to be expected to a degree. He has good insight, regardless of who his “sources” are.

The producers have to put someone on the panel that will debate the other people.. that’s just television, and I think Franklin does a good job and isn’t as much of a bumbling idiot as some people think.

Rampage deserves a title shot right away for sure. I had Griffin/Rampage scored as a tie. I personally think it’s inappropriate for judges to give away belts on decision. A contender needs to convincingly win a title. And if you’re just thinking of this as a matchmaker Evans/Rampage is the best fight to make.
