Although I might not always agree with Franklin, the man is an accomplished writer for the Star Ledger and for ESPN, mainly covering Boxing and MMA….

His boxing columns usually receive high acclaim, so I’m sure his MMA will follow too…

Accomplished writer covering boxing doesn’t mean shit. Franklin sucks covering MMA because it is a new element for him.

And while he may be an accomplished writer, he speaks like a fucking moron. Even people on the panel are seen shaking their heads or rolling their eyes.

He contradicts himself about the Silva fight big time. Then he says that fighters should just stand and trade shots for the entire fight.

Get rid of him.

Franklin needs to shut his mouth, because he’s not the one in the cage fighting Patrick Cote, and he shouldn’t tell how Silva should fight. If the viewers don’t like it then f*** the viewers, it’s not about them, it’s about the fighters.

Franklin needs to stop trying to bust Anderson Silva’s balls. What the others in this thread have already said is true. Boxing doesn’t necessarily relate to MMA and make Franklin very credible. I like what the host said though, don’t look forward to a rematch haha.

That white guy in the middle is stupid he said no one was ever able to stop koscheck in wrestling. GSP STOPED KOSCHECK AND TOOK KOSCHECK DOWN. Also Koscheck didn’t try to go for more than 3 take downs that isn’t alot.

The Black Dude has his own opinion and I’m sure it’s just so that the viewer can see both sides of the argument. You guys should stop bitching an just be happy we have MMA shows like this. The HDnet MMA show with Bas sucks compared to this anyways.

I agree with DMAN. Overall, this show is far better than Inside MMA. I love Bas, but they seem to just stumble through. I predict this show to make ESPNs on air schedule within the next year.

As MMA grows we have to be prepared to hear a lot more of these types of diversified and controversial opinions. It’s just part of the game! Look at all of the guys who make a good living off sharing their opinions about MLB, the NFL, and the NBA.
