TUF fighters Michael Bisping, Jason “Mayhem” Miller, John Dodson, Marcus Brimage, Steven Siler, Bryan Caraway, Ronald Delorme and John Albert share their first childhood fight.
ya right…that little kid bisping is talking about was actually baby dan hendo and he did the same discus throw punch that he did at ufc 100, and bisping’s unconscious body went flying into a locker.
I think the greatest story was Bisping headbutting the bully as an 8 year-old. lol! How many 8 year-olds’ inclination is it to start a fight and throw a headbutt?
I find quite disturbing the damn Gun Store commercial powering MMA videos, I think associating weapons with MMA is not a healthy thing to do in order to build the brand in a constructive way and export it.
I personally think of MMA as a XXI century healthy, polite, modern and evolved sport that helps some people to find their niche in life, yet I am openly against and despise guns, wars and killings.
In my opinion these two things are kinda the opposites and just don’t mix well. The sooner MMA disassociates with that whole hate/death/enemy/killing image type of thing the better for the future of the sport.
cigronne, All the crap that is out there and that’s what you find quite disturbing? Really?
i remember the locust..Lol
ritcv, Yes there is loads of crap out there and that is one of it. You gotta understand that I reside in Europe not in Minnesota or Alabama. Seriously people from out of the US are not used to see sports and weapons go hand in hand… just shocking. Peace out
This country was built on guns, and some people believe when they are gone, so is our freedom.
The founding fathers put it at the 2nd amendment. It is that important, because when freedom of speech goes south, the guns are their to remind people that free will can be exerted under oppression/tyranny.
Lastly, my first fight was my worst enemy kickin me in the stomach, and then asking me to go play video games. I thought it was a funny video, except that smurf dodson, lol.
I still haven’t been in a real fight yet.
Lol @ ‘cigronne’ – really? The gun store is paying sponsor (like Budweiser or Coors) – not advocating gun violence. It’s a shop in Nevada that does sell guns, but is know for their range where you can go and rent out a submachine gun and try it out… sounds like fun! Guns don’t kill people, people kill people… and as far as that goes alcohol kill more people than guns do by various avenues, ie. drunk driving, conflicts with med, accidents, alcohol poisoning, sorosis of the liver, and a myriad of other related issues. As far as “polite, modern and evolved” have you watched MMA? Some of these guys are incredibly rude and un-evolved, the s*** that they talk, and the things they say and do… Paul Daily, Brock Lesnar, the Diaz brothers… the list goes on. Most of the techniques that you watch in ‘combat’ sports like MMA were derived and developed from feudal times and and hand to hand combat. In a sense what you like is WAR. Further still it seems that your ignorance to guns is what the problem is – gun are not always an offensive weapon, they can be a defensive too, and protect innocent people… when a burglar enters my house the first thing they will hear is the sound of my pump action 12# shotgun slide in action “click, click” and they know that the s*** is about to hit the fan… It will be a scary world when only the cops and criminals have guns, and as it is its hard to tell the difference.
VisionQuest & DaBigFish, thanks a lot guys for sharing your viewpoint on the matter without having to disrespect or offend. I understand your opinions and take them into account. It is just my european condition that makes me stick to our own values and ways of seeing the world which are slightly different to yours. That is it.
As far as Diaz, Lesnar, Daily and such individuals go, you are right but I believe that in the long-run these characters’ days are over -at least in the major leagues like the UFC- The new generation have positive role models in the sport to mimic -Jones, Davis, JDS, Edgar, A. Silva, etc- Little by little fighters understand that in order to be/remain successful in the sport and life in general, one not only needs to be physically gifted but articulated when speaking and well-behaved out of the octagon in order to become a wealthy businessman -Watch brand-new Tito’s ways otherwise-. Just my thoughts.
cigronne: Shouldn’t you be watching Glee?
A gun is a tool like a car or a wrench.
LMAO…Grape Soda tells Cigronne to watch Glee instead of MMA…that is funny bro.
“I still remember the locusts”
Ok 1 m*********** is lying because he said in his first fight he was known as the toughest guy on the block but yet he has never got into a fight yet and he was only 6 and claims it was a god damn barn burner lol…OK
