Mirko definitely doesn’t like to get hit and was still looking a little tentative but you know he had a big sigh of relief at the end of this fight……Even though the guy was a scrub its definitely nice to see him win again………He really does not like fighting in the cage though he is better suited for the ring

Mirko would be best served if MMA had a cruiserweight division. He was too small for Cheik and doesn’t seem to be able to drop to light heavy. Maybe he can keep bulking though, we’ll see

This fight doesn’t do anything to help Cro Cop. He gets beat two times in a row against skilled opponents then comes back to Japan to fight some guy that doesn’t even know how to clinch properly. He needs to fight and beat quality opponents if he wants to get back in it.

We’ve all seen the results of UFC fighters out of the cage: some ok, mostly bad. As far as the fight went: loose clinch, but it did it’s job. I think he definitley should add it to his skill set.

Sagaz, Mirko said he’ll take on anyone once he arrived at Dream. It’s not his fault everyone denied a fight with him. This can was the only guy to accept.

Who’s around? Hopefully HW’s like Barnett, Hunt, Yvel, Schilt or even Fedor get to face him before he returns to the UFC..

Crocop has* already proven himself against the top fighters, he went through a bad time, that doesn’t take away from his previous accomplishments.

Crocop at his prime manhandled Herring, Herring beat Kongo. I know it’s not an accurate assessment, but it gives u an idea of how different he was back then and right now.

CroCop looks old old OLD! He will never be as great as he once was. He’ll probably end up winning crappy fights like these for the rest of his career, and lose when he meets quality opponents.

I adore crocop as a fighter… but this was just silly. He needs better competition.

CroCop didn’t look so good, he looked slow. I hope he can stepup and get back to where he was but I honestly think he is just past his prime.

He should fight Gonzaga again to redeem his status…

I have to respect Mizuno for this. He’s not the most experienced fighter, but he was the only one that accepted the fight. He showed no fear and went in there and went right after Crocop without backing down.

As for Crocop, everyone seems to be blaming him for fighting such an inexperienced fighter. Mizuno was the only one that they could find to fight Crocop. The other well known fighters that were offered this match turned it down. It’s not Crocop’s decision and he could have just as easily been fighting a former K-1 Grand Prix champion if his potential opponent had not turned down the offer. He didn’t even know who he was fighting until just a week before the match.

I don’t care who he fights next. Hopefully another kickboxer. He showed skills in this fight that I haven’t seen from him before and his kicks were just as quick and powerful as they’ve ever been. It’s obvious that he’s been working on his kickboxing skills more lately. His punching combinations and quickness also seem to be improved over his last two fights. I don’t think his skill is quite back to where it was in his K-1 days, but it appears to be better than it was in his UFC matches.

I’m looking forward to his next match. I was hoping this fight would be longer than it was. It’s too hard to tell where he’s at from only a 56 second match, although from what there was to see, it looks like this could be the beginning of another streak of KO/TKO wins. Especially if he improves his stand-up skills even more.

Some of you talk too much junk. So Cro Cop lost two fights in a row, so did the beloved Randy Couture, and he’s once again consider a king after a couple of wins. CC is a beast; he will bounce back and wipe his opponents out in the UFC.

I agree with the comment by “Fedor Sucks”, and to all you guys who ripped my ass for saying i don’t take Fedor seriously anymore, let’s look at it like this: most of the top HW’s in the UFC are people Fedor has already beaten, this much is true. However, i just dont see him really being challenged in Dream. This is why Mr.Filapovic here went back to Japan, needed to pad his record a little. Does anyone remember Fedor vs. Cro Cop, good back and forth fight, and one of the few Fedor didn’t finish. The way Cro Cop got dealt with in the UFC really makes me wanna see how the Russian would hold up, that’s all. And believe it or not there are many other fighters in America aside from Nog or Herring. I’m not gonna cry about it anymore, Fedor is staying in Japan, and that’s that. And just to clarify, I don’t think Fedor sucks, quite the opposite actually. I’ve followed his career since the early days. He’s one of if not THE best ever. That’s why it pisses me off to see him waisting his time fighting the same ppl over and over most of whom didn’t really challenge him the first time. There, it’s outta my system.

Crocop belongs in the RING. He even said he couldn’t fight in the cage just yet because he had no prior exp. He is amazing in the ring.

I saw cro cop lose twice in England and was so dissapointed and this is no different – i’m still disapointed. He is a great kicker and showed amazing endurance against fedor but he’s taken the losses to heart and it seems to have destroyed his confidence. Why turn your back on the UFC and why have another warm up fight against an eddie sanchez type bum?

He seems to be running from his real problem which is his ground game which is an integral part of mma. If he’s not game to fight in ufc i’d rather watch him in K1 puttin shin on head again.
