K-1 rules fight video of Ismael Londt vs. Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipovic in a Heavyweight Final Bout at K-1 World Grand Prix 2013 in Zagreb, Croatia, from March 15th, 2013.
Been there… Loved it!!! LMFAO
Bruno: Thanks for your other comment but now available in most countries.
Go Legend!!!! Cro Cop
After that first kick when Londt went down, Cro Cop looked like he almost jumped on for the G-N-P finish.
Damn.Crocop won the gp.
Its all a bunch of bs calling someone too old when they are only 38.Its just the dumb young crowd likes to think they are better because they are younger. If someone keeps in shape and takes care of themselves they can compete at high levels into their 40′s.
fake s***, gtfo cro cock you fight fixing bum
Greengiant is clearly old.
It’s proven fact that a man is in his prime during his mid 20′s. After about 31 or so, your body’s testosterone levels decrease. Cro Cop is not as fast as he once was, he’s carrying more fat and he’s lost a lot of confidence from getting KO’d by younger men. Good for him for scoring a few wins at this stage in his life, but we all know this is not the pinnacle of K1.
Did Badr Hari lose by decision on his fight??
Too bad he should not have been there. He clearly lost the quarterfinal against Jarrell Miller
@greengiant
statistics and history disagree with your statement. very few athletes are able to compete at the highest levels into their 40s and in mma specifically there is a huge statistical bias towards youth when there is a large discrepancy in ages.
Tell that to Anderson Silva. He is 37 and is lol proving everything you have to say about an old fighter wrong. Ask Bernard Hopkins too he is about to 50. Fighting has no age if you don’t know that you shouldn’t be makin any comments
We are talking about a old man that still trains right and was right etc. Nobody is talkin about the majority of fighters being old and competing so those facts are irrelevant to the whole subject
Kuklaklay,
I agree with you but I think MMA is a little bit different than other sports. It really depends on how much wear a fighter has along with his age that determine when they peak and then go down hill. obviously Randy couture peaked in his early 40s but he did not start fighting till he was 35 and he is a bit of a special case. Many fighter that started fighting when they were really young (early 20s or late teens) peak in there mid to late 20s but then after having so many fights, injuries, and accumulated damage they start going down hill before they even hit 30. There are also a good bit of fighters that really hit their prime in their early 30s. It really depends when you start and how much damage you have taken along the way. I do agree though age is a big factor too
Trains right and eats right*
Now that everyone and their grandmother is using performance enhancing drugs, age isn’t as substantial a factor.
How can all the fighters in this event be the finalists? Illogical
Athletes get progressively less effective with age. That’s not an opinion it’s a fact. Silva, Couture, Henderson, Hopkins… They’re exceptional, without a doubt, but the exceptions do not make the rule. Most fighters fizzle out in their mid-30s.
Besides that one kick, Cro Cop took about a thousand knees and clearly lost…
Ya Randy Couture didnt start fighting til he was 35. Thats why he was in ufc 13 go fly a kite u wanker your too much of a special case for this site
