After Cro Co recovered from a virus he picked up in Japan, Mirko Filipović undertook surgery on his right knee. He had announced two weeks ago that he was finally going to repair the injury which he had since 2004 from a fight against Alexander Emelianenko. The surgery was performed by doctor Damir Hudetz in Zagreb Clinic for Trauma. This surgery was on his damaged lateral ligaments and meniscus in his right knee.
