Mike Straka And Marcus Mera of Fox News Break Down UFC 94.
GSP P4P CHAMP !!
broke penns will . . . he will never be the same. bet he respects gsp now.
Is anyone else sick of this pound for pound mumbo jumbo? I mean really, c’mon. There is no way any of it is relevant at all. You can’t prove any of it.
Hey Sterling, how about this: This fight proves GSP is the top welterweight currently fighting in all of MMA? The whole P4P title is just away for people to classify their favorites fighters in a category that is in a sense untouchable untill the fighter loses. GSP is an intelligent fighter. He studies the whole game, not just the fighters. I don’t see him losing anytime soon.
And what about that incident from Thiago Alves? That guy was too nervous to be taken serious. I’m sure the critically judgemental people now officially hate him because of that, but I can’t wait for the fight. That’s gonna be a dope fight.
It proves GSP is top welterweight in the UFC at this point in time. I suspect he will be at the top for a while longer because he is a great fighter, but no one stays at the top forever.

Dude, are you sure about that?
I like P4P ,it gives champions like Silva and GSP a reason to keep winning and something to shoot for.
Where it goes awry is that guys like Coture are actually fighting guys 30 to 40 puonds heavier and 6 inches taller while with GSP it’s all theory. I think you can make a case for both Silva and GSP with Fedor just behind because he’s killing guys who are just past their prime right now….though I think he is the best heavyweight.
clay guida deserves a title shot?

Well said, sterling. It seems like after every frickin’ card from any promotion, there is talk of who the best pound-for-pound guy is. Unless they’re in the same weight class, it’s all a bunch of unprovable nonsense.
I’ll agree with Jon Dough. He’s definitely the best welterweight. No doubt about that. Until Alvez takes his legs/head off with the most brutal kick you’ve ever seen.
Not Jones’s first fight in the UFC
