To me he is by far the best leg-lock specialist. They need to throw him in there with some of the higher level 185′ers to really test him and break a few legs like Chael’s for instance.

i have watched this man on two different occasions ignore screaming and tapping opponents, and refs physically trying to break the leg locks he had, to intentionally wreck a guys knee, i have zero respect for this man palhares and i do not think he belongs in this sport.
when he eventually does this to a high enough profile fighter, someone will get paid to take him out of the fight game permanently.

The only reason he did not let go the holds on his previous fights was because he was aware that some bull$hit fighters such as Chael Sonnen and Matt Lindland, among others, enjoy geting subbed and tapping to right after that say to the referee they did not tap.

I was pleasantly surprised that Palhares let go within an acceptable time from when the referee stepped in. Massenzio sat there trying to decide if he was going to tap – bad move, especially with Palhares.
For the record, I still think that Palhares is a dickwad for his previous instances of holding on well past the referee’s wishes to stop.
