Log in to Reply Caper December 4, 2008 Anderson Fedor GSP Torres BJ Log in to Reply rockoner December 4, 2008 torres is a beast, crazy ass axe kick!!! Log in to Reply karlito101 December 4, 2008 lets not get carried away he looked good but top three in the world p4p? Above GSP and BJ? Tapia looked decidedly average just watch the gsp fitch fight again GSP p4p kicks torres ass! Log in to Reply Gt03champ December 4, 2008 true Torres is good. maybe great. no one at 135 can beat him. but what will happen if a 145 decided to drop to 135. ooohh. Log in to Reply Weez December 4, 2008 Torres is definitely the toughest dude with a mullet. Log in to Reply dannito December 4, 2008 first time seeing him fight all o have to say is he’s good.. Log in to Reply alfredunhill December 4, 2008 That’s one bad ass Mexican…definitely top 3 p4p….along w/ Fedor and Silva…wow..impressive…been a fan for a long time…great killer instinct Log in to Reply mmalove December 4, 2008 Torres needs to move up and whoop some Faber a$$! =D Log in to Reply chamberfool December 4, 2008 lolgator that list is exactly mine 1.Anderson S. 2.Fedor E. 3.Miguel T. 4.B.J. P. 5.GSP NICE! Log in to Reply MMACanada December 4, 2008 I gotta say lolgator4490 I have to disagree with Silva over Fedor and BJ over GSP. I do not believe silva is the best pound for pound in the world because he cuts SHITLOADS of weight to go to middle, and hasnt been tested at 205 (Irving fans, hes a stepping stone, get over it.)Anderson could fight at heavyweight if he wanted. Im not trying to shit talk him for it, I think 205 would be his best weight anyway. But as it stands, the man walks around at a similar weight to Fedor. The two could likely meet at 225-230, with Silva being the taller fighter. That would pretty much be my dream fight right there. Log in to Reply karlito101 December 4, 2008 sick of this silly fedor vs a.silva chit chat. Stop trying to hijack the thread with that talk… Log in to Reply MMACanada December 4, 2008 Although come to think of it, 215 might be a better weight for them to meet at. And Im basing this off hearing Silva has been as heavy as 240, probably cant afford to walk around that heavy at this point. I just want a reason for these two to go at it haha. Log in to Reply GSP4THEWIN December 4, 2008 how about a three man sll-out weapons fight between Lesnar, Kimbo and Batista from WWE ? Log in to Reply Csari0 December 4, 2008 I love it when a fighter gets his ass handed, and gets up asking “Why did you stop it for?!!! Classic. I love it when fighters try shit that is not supposed to work in MMA… I have seen a flying arm bar sub, a cartwheel KO.. it would be great to see a summersault KO. Good fight! Log in to Reply trout December 4, 2008 Miguel is definitely a bada$$. Wish he didn’t trim down the mullet. Love the mariachi entrance music. It just pumps me up!!!! Log in to Reply Zitro N December 4, 2008 How can people choose Anderson Silva over Fedor for the Pound4Pound best fighter ever ??? Fedor HAS NEVER lost a fight and ALL his fight were won by KO/Submission OR unanimous-decision ! Anderson is very good but he lost some fights and will lose if he fight in his real weightclass –> lightheavy-weight ! Torres so goooood ! Log in to Reply Mexico December 4, 2008 Fedor is best fighter on the whole planet and the only loos that he had is stopagge because of cut above his aye and that’s it. Miguel Torres is a real deal and nothing better when you achieve something like this when you young as he is. I am looking forward to se him again. Log in to Reply wandisabeast December 4, 2008 Zitro N Says Fedor HAS NEVER lost a fight and ALL his fight were won by KO/Submission OR unanimous-decision ! Anderson is very good but he lost some fights and will lose if he fight in his real weightclass –> lightheavy-weight ! fedor has lost by a cut and anderson silvas natural wieght is 185 he fought at 185 in pride Log in to Reply wandisabeast December 4, 2008 battle of the beaners Log in to Reply White Gerbil1 December 4, 2008 Zitro you are a moron. what do you consider natural weight class, every one cuts weight to fight your probably just a fat lard loser boy Log in to Reply paddedummy December 5, 2008 Oh, that’s not pretty. Tapia’s gonna need some stitches. Log in to Reply Zescape December 5, 2008 I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. WAR MULLET Brian Bowles would give Torres a very good fight. I’m excited to see if that’s the next 135lb title match. Bowles has finished all 4 of his opponents in the WEC so far, he definitely deserves it. Log in to Reply Syterion December 5, 2008 Fedor didn’t lose that fight. It was a cut from an illegal blow a minute in. It was ruled that he lost only because it was a tournament and they needed someone to move on, otherwise he would have gotten a no contest since it was an illegal blow. Silva also fights at the right weight. He’s never had a problem with his weight and cutting weight is part of it, it’s not unfair. Franklin cuts a ton too and lost, and Henderson fights at 205 too. Both are excellent fighters whose styles can’t be compared. Log in to Reply M0rph3v5 December 5, 2008 That was ****in brutal! Miguel’s the man! that Front flip Axe kick was badass and that front kick with the spinning back fist was awesome. Honestly the best stand-up fight I’ve seen in a long time. Log in to Reply M0rph3v5 December 5, 2008 also, don’t forget guys that Fedor just lost to Blagoi Ivanov in Sambo! To someone he beat before! C’mon now Fedor you’re supposed to be God! you can’t lose! it’s infallable! Blasphemy! Log in to Reply savman December 5, 2008 thanks Bruno – this site and MMA mania are the two sites i check every day. How sharp does Torres look! Is it just me or would a catch weight fight between him and BJ at 145 (after Bj has had plenty of time to recondition back to his 155 first post GSP) be a SICK fight Log in to Reply yoububg December 5, 2008 Considering this guys record, I think he may surpass Silva for the best pound for pound fighter. I love St. Pierre but I don’t think he belongs on the list. People are forgetting what pound for pound means. Log in to Reply LC December 5, 2008 Impressive win Log in to Reply Nacho December 5, 2008 How about Torres vs Kid Yamamoto?? Log in to Reply rgood December 5, 2008 That guy has some quick hands. Never really heard of him before now. Log in to Reply marquito76r December 5, 2008 definately 1 of the worlds best p4p fighters, he the man! Log in to Reply danada December 5, 2008 Torres is a serious fighter. I watched the fight when he won the title and I was sold. I wasn’t rooting for him but I had to admit his skill. His standup is getting better and better and it wasn’t bad to start with. Frank Mir talked about Torres the whole fight, but Tapia has GOOD hands. He caught Miguel a few times and made him think. Tapia’s hands are quick and he has power. A couple times Miguel had to back away. As soon as he did and picked his shots a little better he took Tapia apart. Very smart fighter. His ground game is disturbingly good. Log in to Reply the.jew.fro December 5, 2008 faber vs. torres please.
