One Time WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres “handled his business like a man”, will make return to the UFC.
Torres tweeted about three weeks ago that ‘If a windowless van was called a surprise van, more people wouldn’t mind going for rides in them.”Everyone likes surprises.”
Dana White said at the UFC 141 pre-fight press conference, that Torres had volunteered at local rape centers, and also made donations. White said he’s also attended sensitivity classes.

Dana being Dana. His words mean nothing. Never should have cut Torres in the first place. Now that the UFC is becoming more mainstream, it is time for Dana to go wayyyy behind the scenes and let a professional be the executive face of the company. Some one that doesn’t speak like a 12 year old on the wrong meds.

Forrest screwed up and volunteered at a r*** center, so it was only natural that MT get his job back after paying the price. The only reason he got cut was that he’s a smaller draw than Forrest and Rashad. Still, these guys need to realize that they’re public figures now, and they need to use their heads more.

Good move for everyone involved but Torres doesn’t have much of a chance now so the less he talks the better.Time will tell when he steps into the octagon again and the reaction from fans.

Dana made a good decision on both counts. Yes some fighters are obviously testosterone dripping machines, but it doesn’t mean they need to talk like twelve year children to the world. Maybe Torres needed to be sensitized and understand that the subject he is joking about is a real problem. Most idiots cant relate and for the most part don’t care. As far as letting him back in the UFC I think it’s good he will think twice before talking like a dumb ass.

I feel like an ass for having misspelled “feel”, but seriously, I feel the need to elaborate. In any other major sports organization if you want to make an example of an athlete you fine them and/or suspend them but to flat out fire them is almost unheard of. You would really have to cross some lines to get just flat out dismissed like that. That was too much Dana.
