Wandy won easily. Wrong or right, Bisping almost tapped twice in that guillotine. His corner told him to hold a bit longer. Then, he got limb in the end of the 3rd round for a second.
There was no way Bisping can think he won. He’s just a cry-baby without the British judges heping him out.

He didnt have the choke right , it took him 5 secs to wrap his legs and he still didnt push in his hips. Wandy looked great at 185 , disping looked frustrated and lost . It wasnt a close fight at all Imo but not a total wash , bisping didnt win one round and if the ref didnt get in the way at the end wandy would have finished him .
It was a great card and a great fight .

Pride was more like real fighting. Look at a Joe Rogan blog Jan 2010, he sums it up really well. Also, in my opinion, if another organization were to compete well with the UFC, they wud follow Pride rules-> more dynamic exciting fights. You miss a takedown, your gonna get stomped on. You go for a takedown and the opponent sprawls, your gonna get kneed in the head. Also the ring facilitates more exchanges on the feet because the more aggressive fighter can corner the p*ssy (ie: Wanderlei vs Bisping) and rip him up without him slipping away like a b*tch. Overall, Pride fights were so much more entertaining and if you don’t agree you are a UFC fanboy. Go ahead, drop to a knee before I kick you in the face.

I liked what I saw: technical foot work, technical kicks, head tucked, hands high, and head movement with those old school Axe Murderer looping punches. Great mix of the old and the new-and-improved Silva
To say I was happy to see Wanderlei get back into the win column would be an understatement. I thought he was robbed against Franklin, also.
He’s gotta be, at this point, the most beloved fighter in MMA. Continued success Wand.

Bisping is frustrating to watch. He has good skills, but never threatens because he doesn’t sit down on his punches or stay in the pocket to land a devastating enough strike. He’s good enough to be competitive against anyone, but not good enough to reach elite calibre. He’s got good jiu jitsu defense and takedown defense, but not good enough jiu jitsu to submit anyone or good enough wrestling to control guys.

Big Al, Bisping was owned the whole fight. Landing shots that do damage is one thing, Bisping just stuck his arm out to stop Wandy from coming. The most damage he did was the low blow and eye poke. Wandy had a near submission, 1 knockdown, and 2 near KOs. I have no problems with Bisping, but he lost and rightly so. Saved by the bell twice was Bisping

Wanderlei isnt as agressive because he throws looping punches with almost no head movement (got better,but still) and he has been succesfully countered a lot lately.
