Nice finish, thought Melvin was gonna have a field day with him, but Akiyama got the fight to the ground and it was pretty much over after that.

k-1 offered a lot of mma action… melvin is one of the most exciting stand up fighters there is… PLEASE SOMEBODY TEACH HIM SOME BJJ!!!!!!!!!! IF he learned to stop the shoot, he would be real hard to deal with… strike from top to bottom, and then back up to top..come on where do you see that in mma….

Damn, Melvin’s stand-up is nasty, the guy looks like he hits like a truck. I was suprised he let Akiyama get so close to him, he was kicking the crap out of him before they went to the ground. Great armbar though, Akiyama is pretty damn slick
