Shogun looks pretty sharp but I noticed hes catching the pad a lot of the time even on lower strikes with his foot cant be good for injuries and not half as powerful as a full shin kick.

People forget, this could lead to a Rua rematch with Henderson. Odd that everyone seems to have written off Vera (for good reason) and Hendeson (also for good reason) but anything can happen. Remember Henderson vs Fedor? Surprises are always welcome. We might actually see Vera vs Henderson for the title?

I cant wait for this fight(card). Rua is tougher than Vera so he’ll win but it should be fun to watch. this card is STACKED. Im excited to see several of these fights. from top to bottom this is the best card in awhile. Im really excited to see Swick back in action. 8 of these fights are great matchups. The last 2 fights Im unfamiliar with the fighters. So pumped to see the Bader vs Machida fight as well. That fight could easily have been the headliner .

Im disappointed that Shogun ducked Glover Texeira. Not sure if he did it because hes a friend or because hes afraid of Glover. Texeira is one tough dude and im not surprised fighters would duck him, just a bit surprised Shogun did. War Texeira!

Bad matchup for Vera. He likes to keep distance and range and use kicks. He’s not going to be able to do that against Shogun who will be in his face and throwing combinations. When he connects, Vera will retreat into survival mode. Shogun by third round TKO.
