Goose bumps! It really is surreal to see Mo in there, and still knocking dudes senseless. Smith, Ruas, and Rutten, are the ones who ushered in the first era of real striking in MMA. An era that still set as the blueprint for mma striking.

Maurice looked good there. He actually looked 30, not 50.
I would say that the size (and technique) difference may have compensated for the age, but who cares? The guy is a legend and he beat the crap out of a fighter almost half his age.
I hope that he will get a better fight next time.
Gilbert Yvel could be a good match, but it might be too much for Smith.
Houston Alexander might be a more competitive one, as Houston is much smaller…

That would be an awesome “old timers” fight haha.But I don’t think Bas can fight anymore.He had a problem with a nerve in his arm almost paralyzing it and he has no more cartilege in his knees.
