I never realized how short Serra’s arms really are. He could barely get them around Gomi’s neck! He is a boss in the Jiu-Jitsu world, though. Gotta give him his props there.

That said, I think GSP will walk through him.

Jiu-jitsu clearly is not Gomi’s thing. He should stick to what he does best… beating up other Japanese fighters that are smaller and weaker than him.

I hate Matt Serra, but damn is he a well-rounded fighter. Built like and strikes like a grappler, he’s a BJJ black-belt and submission wrestler. The GSP fight’s gonna be great.

Serra’s a chill guy. I met him about a week after he won the belt and he was very down to earth and answered all of mine and my friends questions. He even had a couple drinks with us. He always stands in his fights though, he is a elite grappler and should use that to his advantage more in his fights. I can’t wait for April 19th.
